It was not up to par on our last visit. Service was slow and they were not busy. It is usually better. I am doing this review to tell people not to get the hot/spicy burrito, which I tried for the first time. It was very small for $12. I was very disappointed. Since it didn’t have side, I assumed it would be large, but I was wrong. Everyone else’s order was fine though. I’ll go back, but I’ll order something different.

Patio area smelled of sewer. Ordered Taco Salad chicken. No sour cream. Cheese on side. Came as beef. Then obviously scraped off sour cream because it was still on inside of salad. Waiter was nice. No complaints with him. He was very patient with kids and our chaos.

Got a to go order and my husband got the shrimp and scallop fajitas and got half way through his food and bit into glass. Called back up there and the manager was nice but tried to say it was possibly from the package the scallops come in or from a plastic vase that was knocked over and broken before our son even got the bags, it was 100% glass without a doubt. We love this restaurant and have never had any issues but trying to blame it on our 13 year old is not the right approach. Something happened in the kitchen and he might not be aware after investigating but we’re beyond disappointed and hoping he doesn’t get sick or end up having to go to the hospital.

😡😡I wanted to eat a Mexican meal and I left and the waitresses are very horrible how is it possible that they charge you a tip for a plate of food 😡😡 I left very friendly and left an excellent tip and they scammed me by charging me the tip so no two friends do your job well.... 😡😡

we have dined at this restaurant a few times in the past and the food was good. But on Friday April 26 2025 we ordered the Dos Amigos special and the shrimp in the dish was spoiled and rotten. The shrimp had a overpowering fishy smell and taste and this is usually a indication that he shrimp is spoiled. Once i informed the staff they offered to take the charge off ,but never did i was still charged for the stinky rotten disgusting shrimp and food! 🤢🤮🤢🤮

Nice place to go. The food was good. Portions compared to other places are a little less. Service is pretty good. I do like the fact they aren't interrupting you constantly.

I told my friend I wanted Mexican for dinner and she took me here. And I am so happy she did, the service was great, the food amazing. I have eaten at a few Mexican restaurants in Tuscaloosa and Northport and in my opinion, Dos Amigos has been the best, from the chips to the margaritas to my fajitas. Let’s talk about the margaritas, best I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant so far.
