Los Tarascos – Disappointed Regulars Who Won’t Be Back
We’ve been loyal customers of Los Tarascos in Northport for a long time, but unfortunately, last night was our final visit.
To start, the menus didn’t list any prices, which immediately felt misleading and made ordering uncomfortable. We were also surprised by an upcharge on the kids’ meal—apparently based on the waitress assuming one of the children with us was over 10. No one asked, and there was no mention of this policy beforehand.
As for the food, it was a huge letdown across the board. The chicken was chewy and tough, the cheese dip was clumpy, and the nachos were served on soggy chips with cheese that tasted cheap and artificial. We had a group of seven, and sadly, not a single person enjoyed their meal.
It honestly feels like they’re cutting corners, and the overall quality has gone way down. We’ve given this place a lot of our business over the years, but after this experience, we won’t be returning.

Good was not bad, but nothing to write home over either. It was a pretty quiet atmosphere, even with it being Cinco de Mayo. Burrito filled me up and service was decent.

What a huge inconvenience to have to look at the menu (with your phone)using a QR code just to look at the prices! It takes you to a very confusing web page full of google commercials and pictures from ETSY. Come on guys! Get a decent menu. Not that thing you gave us of the size of a table cloth.
