Possibly the worst meal I've ever had. We had to ask to be seated. They just ignored us. The food was a plate of way too many burnt potatoes and the schnitzel I can't even comment on. Aldi has better frozen ones. Overpriced and unappealing

We had such slow service on a Sunday morning. Painfully slow. Cappuccinos came out near cold, food took soooo long. Disappointing. Food was fresh quality but service and speed sorely lacking.

Absolutely delicious! The sausages are the best I’ve ever had. The owner was so friendly and came by to chat a few times. Also love the atmosphere, very cozy and welcoming. Cannot wait to go back!

I really wanted to like this place. 1st trip talked to the wife co-owner. She was very helpful and offered recommendations. 1st night for my waiter and he messed up my order 3 times. I figure learning curve. Learned they make their own German style sausages. 1st time, very bland. Almost like no seasoning was used. I got the sample platter and the brat dog. Went back tonight to give it another try. Ordered the Jager Schnitzel. Tasted like canned gravy. Needed pepper at the very least. Sorry for $33 out the door I was very unimpressed. Service however was very good.
Want some good German food? Head to Rolf's! I came for lunch and ordered the Balkanschnitzel. The flavors were amazing! Next time I come back, I plan on getting bratwurst. 😋

Service was great, and the food was spectacular. I had the Balkanschnitzel with a side of North German potato salad, and it was one of the best meals I've had in a while.
The owner also created a fantastic environment, playing a few songs on his accordion and continuously checking on patrons.
A quick favorite in Tuscaloosa after having been here for 7 years!
