This place should be called Puke City. Chow's Country Buffet is a lot better.

The best buffet in northport! I come every Wednesday. Phenomenal staff, Phenomenal food! They don't make you feel rushed. Surprised to see this place doesn't have a full house every time I come. The bathroom would be the ONLY thing I could complain about if I cared that much. But this is the best sit down buffet I've gotten to enjoy in a long time! Thank you royal buffet and i give your best wishes to full success!

It took this place a little while to get established and with a few hiccups and growing pains they have finally coming to their own. They are doing a tremendous job there and the food is always hot and fresh. Really enjoy the sushi and the fried chicken wings along with all the other Chinese dishes that they have. My son and daughter and I often frequent this place and we have noticed that it has increased in popularity and also they have gotten better with their dishes and keeping the foods hot. The cleanliness of the building is probably a 3.8 out of 5 stars but I believe that that's only because of its antiquity. With a little bit of updating I think they could really turn this into a five-star easily! I do think it would be appropriate for the wait staff to be a little bit more attentive to the customers. Thank you Royal buffet! We really enjoy your food and we thank you so much for working so hard!

My first time going. It was decent until I saw a baby cockroach crawling on my broccoli. Food was also cold and we went as soon as they opened

Several items on buffet was cold. Pricing steady increase not a good value. Best thing about it was the ice-cream cooler. Somebody else made it.

The food was by far the grossest id ever tasted and seemed it have been sitting out sense they opened and it’s 6pm. even the soy sauce on the table was on an old gross bottle and tasted expired i wish i took pictures. the price would of been great if the food was good only $15 a person and $3 for a drink the building itself also looks gross but reviews looked ok so we gave it a try. our server was sweet and never let our drinks run out but overall everyone seemed like they hated being there. would recommend going to the buffet by the american thrift store instead.

Food was cold or barely warmed, unseasoned and nasty. Restrooms were dirty.

For some reason everything I had which was the spicy chicken stir fried green beans fried rice and even the hot and sour soup all tasted like it was cooked with sugar and no other spices or seasoning even my mother’s lo mein was sweet and the fresh fruit sh got wasn’t ripe. Her cantaloupe was hard to even cut into with a knife.

I’m not upset because I knew better coming here but like others I give chances with our LIMITED local restaurants in town . $11.99 lunch special turns into almost $16 with a drink . Food was tasteless (except the crab rangoon that were just thrown together) , chicken was very chewy in areas , fried chicken was so hard I couldn’t bite it , potatoes were undone and had a sour taste , egg rolls HARD . Not to mention the roach that crawled across the booth across from me that she had to come and kill . “ Pest control just left , i sorry “ . My waiter didn’t check on me or offer a refill . After the roach honestly my appetite was lost . I ate crab rangoons and left because the dish I actually came for was an Upcharge if I wanted it because I came in before lunch time ended . She discounted my bill to $13 but I will never return .
