We have lived in the Auburn/Opelika area for 30 years. How did we not find Big Blue until now!! We had the Red Beans and Rice with sausage and peel and eat shrimp. Not only was it very affordable it was soooo good!!! Highly recommend.

Big disappointment…bought 15# of (what was supposed to be) live crawfish & they were all dead….attempted to purge as instructed by Clint and a few made small movements but never completely came to life & after 2 hours of trying….all were dead !!!!! Had a lot of family at the lake for Fathers Day and was unable to have our crawfish boil because we had NO live crawfish…. I contacted Clint several times and even sent live videos of what was happening and he only offered to refund 1/2 of my money and then said it would be at least Monday ( this is saturday)before he could do that… Just super disappointing to me & my family !!!!! His only response other than offering 1/2 a refund was “ some sacks of crawfish are better than other sacks”…..

I’ve driven past here many times and finally stopped. So glad I did! I lived in Cajun country in Louisiana many years and consider myself knowledgeable about Cajun food. (Mind you, Cajun is different than Creole.) This is the first place I have found in ages that sells authentic boudin! The owner, Clint, set up a freezer with ready to go yumminess. Frozen boudin, meats, pastas, cheese grits etc. Clint offered to try and get us any Cajun foods in we want.We got some freshly boiled shrimp and crawfish and man! Was it good! Just the right spice for both! A good place to stop for a quick meal for take out.Amy Sue was at the register and was enjoyable and knowledgeable to visit with. It was a surprisingly fun stop that we will be sure to be visit again.

My wife and I got married at the end of last year and we had the privilege of having Clint cater our rehearsal dinner. The food was absolutely amazing and very reasonably priced! I would go so far as to say it was the best seafood boil I’ve ever had! Even months after our wedding we still have people telling us how good the food was and who catered the dinner. But above that, Clint was absolutely amazing to work with. He was responsive, friendly, and flexible. We had originally planned to boil the food on site at our venue, but rain quickly formed in the forecast so I asked Clint 2 days before our dinner if we could change the plan and have the food cooked off site and delivered instead and within 30mins of my first text message we came up with a new game plan. That quick response time and willingness to adapt to the situation was HUGE for us to help take some of the stress off due to the rain. I could go on for a while and say nothing but good things about Clint and his business. Thank you for helping make our day special, Clint!

I come from New Orleans, and when I moved here and found Clint, I thanked my lucky stars. As you can imagine, I have been very spoiled living in NOLA and I am a tad picky about my seafood ?, particularly my crawfish. This is THE ONLY place you can get authentic Cajun seafood on a radius of probably 80-100miles or more. Hoping for some chargrilled oysters Drago’s style in the near future ???A taste of Louisiana ⚜️?Seasoned right ? , fresh, delicious, and authentically Cajun! ?? ? ???

Great source for live crawfish when they are in season (usually February to June)… They also carry plenty of Cajun seafood, frozen crawfish, sausage and seasoning to carry your cravings the rest of the year… I work in Louisiana and still buy my live crawfish from them!! Good price and super convenient to have them close to home.

Best crawfish around. Nothing more to say!

Inconsistent menu. There's no shortage on gumbo or red beans and rice so not sure what the excuse was. Didn't stick around and waste more of my time to find out. This was on a Friday so a busy day of the week when customer options should have been highest.
