“Mariscos Playa Azul is an absolutely wonderful restaurant! We were looking for a place that wasn’t slap full on a Friday night, and came across this little gem. Hopefully after this review you all can change that! Our host Amador really made a good experience into a truly great one. He was so friendly and attentive. I had the carne asada, and as a serial carne asada order-er, I can speak with authority on this matter. Theirs is tender, well seasoned, and comes sizzling to you on a bed of onions. It comes with spring onions and a pepper as well. My husband had street tacos and didn’t even offer me a bite to try before he finished them quickly. What I think is really interesting is the wide variety of seafood offered. This feels like a restaurant you’d only find on the Gulf Coast and I highly recommend coming here!”

“I went to the Coffee Shop for the first time this morning to try the fall flavors. I got the Bonfire Iced Latte and it was phenomenal. I finished it all before I got home! The staff were also incredibly nice! I will most certainly be going back.”

“The cookies are fantastic, made quickly and made fresh every day. The staff are always lovely and sweet, and the store is always neat and clean.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a small ramp where the parking lot meets the slightly elevated sidewalk, the doorway is wide enough to be perfectly accessible, and the lobby standing room is enough for accessibility as well.”

Mine is made with oat milk. There are always good vinyl tunes spinning on the turntable and delectable confections in the cookie jars.”

“I've been passing this place for some time now, so today after me and Mom's movie date we decided to pull in and see what the long lines were about. OMG!!! ?I've never tasted such a great footlong with everything on it just right. The chili you can tell was homemade and amazing. Actual meat not a soupy bean sauce with little meat. My surprise shake flavor was a chocolate strawberry delight?. The only issue I have with Mrs story is I need those shake cups to be a little bigger. It was gone before I got on the interstate. Will definitely roll thru for another coney and some more sweet treats? Usually, I'll post a pic of the food ordered, but I dove in so quick, I forgot. Maybe next time?”

“We live Durango’s! Great atmosphere, always greeted with a smile and seated very quickly. Their waiters are always friendly and quick service. The food is always excellent. We have tried other Mexican restaurants but none compete with Durango.”

“I ordered two subs today through the app, But I had accidentally ordered them to the wrong location (Opelika location instead of Phoenix city). Once I got to the Phoenix city location I quickly realized i had ordered it to the wrong place because they couldn’t find my order, so I called the Opelika location to see if I could cancel my order because of my mistake. I was told by a girl manager at the time that there is no exceptions for canceling order if I had ordered it ordered to a different location. I was super upset knowing that I had just wasted $23 and still had no lunch for me or my partner and didn’t want to spend that money again. so I had placed a case through the app to see if I could get any resolution to my problem. Until Rocco another store manager from the Opelika location called me to find out more about my problem. Rocky was super professional and immediately took action to resolving my issue. He even told me that usually if someone Accidentally orders it to the wrong location the other location will call them to see if the order is there and if it is they would remake it at the location, which was some thing that the other girl manager never mentioned to me even after I sounded upset. Big shoutout to Rocco for delivering great customer service, now I will be gladly returning to eat lunch here when I pass through the area!”

“This place has some fantastic retro 1950s interior decor. The tables were sort of dirty but I asked the staff members to clean it and they came through and wiped down the tables. I ordered the double smash burger and took a seat. The food took a considerable amount of time to prepare so plan accordingly. There are some pros and cons.

Pros: Plenty of free sauces all for free and a nice selection of beverages to choose from. This along with a varied menu was nice to see

Cons: I think $7 for the tiny sandwich was a little high and the wait time was a little excessive at close to 20 minutes for that thin of a patty.

Overall, I enjoyed it and would be willing to come back to try other items on the menu. The customer service was excellent!”

“Was down in area visiting and just happened to be hungry so figured we'd give jim bobs a try and let me tell you wow so glad we did. Walked in a was a little overwhelmed by the huge menu but with help of the super nice older lady behind the counter it wasn't bad.
You order get your drinks and a number an your food is brought out to you when its ready.

I decided on the chicken fried sandwich (get it cut in half). My wife get the meat and 3 sides jalapeño corn bread coleslaw and Mac and cheese.

The sandwich is big and oh so good. I got it with just lettuce. It was super moist and filling. The fries were fried just right with the right amount of salt and crunch.

Wife got the boneless wings with BBQ sauce. She said they were good. The coleslaw was perfect. The Mac was super creamy. The corn bread was good too.

They have dessert options but we were to full to try any.

We will definitely be going back when we're in the area again next year.”

“I've never been to a place as unique as this. Part game room part restaurant. The menu allows you to make your own creations with the items that they carry. I've never heard of using 2 pizzas as buns until here. I did the pizza bun with shredded chicken, rasberry vinaigrette, and shrimp. I also did a burger with 2 grilled cheese sandwiches as buns with lettuce, beef, queso, and shrimp. I also ordered a shredded chicke. Sandwich with lettuce, shredded carrots and queso on a Hawaiian bun. It was amazing.”

“I was in this facility on Friday around 5pm. There were 2 men working. The man that sliced my sandwich knew what I wanted due to the fact I am a regular and I never change from my 13. He provided excellent customer service and was very efficient as always. I asked him his name and it's Harrison. I highly recommend giving him a raise. He does his job with a smile.”

Our food was great, fresh and delicious. Good sweet tea, generous portions. Everything was nice and clean and we appreciated the thicker napkins that they use. Definitely a step up from your ordinary fast food places.
