“Mariscos Playa Azul is an absolutely wonderful restaurant! We were looking for a place that wasn’t slap full on a Friday night, and came across this little gem. Hopefully after this review you all can change that! Our host Amador really made a good experience into a truly great one. He was so friendly and attentive. I had the carne asada, and as a serial carne asada order-er, I can speak with authority on this matter. Theirs is tender, well seasoned, and comes sizzling to you on a bed of onions. It comes with spring onions and a pepper as well. My husband had street tacos and didn’t even offer me a bite to try before he finished them quickly. What I think is really interesting is the wide variety of seafood offered. This feels like a restaurant you’d only find on the Gulf Coast and I highly recommend coming here!“

We have been several times and it is now our “go to “ place for Asian food. Prices are very reasonable , restaurant is very clean and food is really good.“

“I think my visit here was absolutely amazing! The customer service was great! I had asked the waitress if they had Kimbap which they do! I am really greatful for as well. I had ordered two kimbaps for to go. The waitress was very nice and kind!

I think the atmosphere was great over there. I had sat over by the bar and minded my own business. The staff there was very nice as well. Seemed like a very cool and calming place to go to during the weekdays but I think during the weekends could be very enjoyable and fun.

The service time for waiting for my food was very quick! The waitress told me it would take about 15-20 minutes for the kimbaps to be made but I wouldn’t even say it had taken that long to be honest which I was not in a rush, I had all day. The Kimbaps itself were phenomenal and cheap as well as super filling. I would’ve probably gotten away with just ordering one order of it but I really enjoy eating kimbaps. I also was given a side of Kimchi. The kimchi was absolutely amazing, I don’t know if it’s home made but it definitely not store bought kimchi.

I have to give this place a solid 9 out of 10! I definitely need to come back during my days off and actually dine in at this place! If you are concerned about what they serve, I had posted a current menu on this post as well.

“We'd, Aug 7 we came and they over heard us say it was her bday. Customer gave her 7 dollars, a female at counter gave her 2 and was so friendly. B4 that the guy at counter was handling a line of people, cars and teaching workers in back with such positivity. I forgot this existed in today's society. Well done to the boss for hiring them all. I think everyone's food was a little messed up, but they quickly fixed it and the atmosphere was so happy no one cared about the missing items. Keep it up!“

“To begin with this place is absolutely awesome! The customer service is great and they very helpful as well as kind.

They had helped me out on choosing what to get and what to recommend. I ended up getting some dim sum and steamed dumplings.

I definitely going here if you are new to the area or have been living here for a while.
