“We live Durango’s! Great atmosphere, always greeted with a smile and seated very quickly. Their waiters are always friendly and quick service. The food is always excellent. We have tried other Mexican restaurants but none compete with Durango.“
“We have eaten here twice and ordered different dishes each time. I am TexMex and this food is sooooo good like home! I can attest for the street tacos, grilled chicken Torta and the chicken quesadillas. It’s seems their main complaints are for the nachos.“

“The food was excellent and the menu choices included everything you could possibly want. They easily accommodated our group of five with prompt service and great food cooked to our liking, served hot, and good quality. All five entrees that we ordered were great and I look forward to trying so many more of them. I really appreciated that the dining area and all facilities appeared to be very clean. I have tried so many Mexican restaurants in the area without finding one that impressed me as much as Mi Ranchito. “My Torta con Chorizo was excellent! I always judge tortas starting with the bread, and this sandwich did not disappoint. Que rico!! The service was friendly and quick and the prices were good. The horchata was fresh and tasty too. The only complaint is that there was no ice available for the drinks. Some of the best, if not the best/most authentic Mexican food in town.“
“This is quite possibly the best restaurant in auburn-opelika, let alone the best Mexican restaurant. Get there for breakfast, the chilaquiles are outstanding. As is everything else on the menu - especially the picadas. Service is great - nothing fancy but very cozy.“
