“I ordered a small catering order at the last minute and was otw to pick it up. The reviews made me decide to eat dinner there when I picked up my order…and I’m so glad I did! The food, service, ambiance, attention to detail and welcoming atmosphere were all TOP NOTCH! What a sweet family, and the restaurant was superbly clean and well appointed. They have a roomy party room and plenty of parking. You could even stop in with your RV! I had no idea about this restaurant, but they’ve been rocking along for almost 30 years! Alcohol is served here, and it’s very child friendly. The prices are great, the portions are HUGE, and you leave full, happy and with LOTS of left overs! Try the Pizza Barria! The salsa is off the chain, and tastes like it just came from the garden. They had a very brisk to-go crowd, and it’s the type of establishment that leaves you feeling nostalgic because of the GREAT customer service! BRAVO! A++“

She saw that I was dining alone so she checked in as needed, answered whatever questions I had, and did it all with her sweet Southern charm. “Went right after 11 for lunch so they were still prepping for the day. Server was very sweet and made us feel welcomed. Cozy and cute restaurant. For $15 you get a large fountain drink, rice and beans and 3 tacos. Great value. I had carne asada and my wife had al pastor. Both were absolutely delicious. I’ve never cleaned my plate of rice and beans, but I did here. 10/10 would recommend. We will be going again.“

“So, if you want your cookie-cutter Mexican restaurant with the generic salsa, chips, tacos, etc., this is not your place. But, if you want to have fantastic authentic Mexican food, this is for you. It’s a one person shop, so do expect fancy, but you aren’t paying for fancy: you’re paying for good food.“

“I go here frequently. It’s my favorite restaurant in town. The food is always great. I usually get Tex Mex Al pastor tacos (I add grilled veggies and onions and a cup of red salsa for that extra flavor) or I get the same deal but nacho fries instead of tacos. There have been a few mess ups, but it’s always fixed and with how delicious it is I just can’t help but come back. Shoot, even the mess ups taste good. I wish I could hire you guys as my personal chefs.“

“The food tasted great. You can either have the buffet and pay by the pound or order off the menu. The salsa there is not spicy. The medium tastes more tomato-like, while the spicy has an almost nonexistent kick. I just wish the horchata tasted stronger, but the people there are so nice 💚“

“😏 this is a cozy little spot to have food and drink with friends or a female partner especially in the evenings this is not a big time restaurant it's more on the mom-and-pop side so be prepared to take your time and sit down to eat with paper plates plastic utensils and styrofoam cups so don't come here trying to be bougie 😂😂“

“Go to the back of the grocery store and you will find a gem of delicious Mexican food! The carne asada and carnitas tacos were incredible! Definitely the best around and outside the Fort Moore gate. I had a refreshing jamaica agua fresca and my friend had a yummy filling quesadilla with beans and rice. Super authentic food. Extremely sweet and nice service; they were so attentive and friendly! You must go and eat here!“
