We have been going here for years. We have tried many other Mexican / Tex-Mex restaurants and many are good, but for price, consistency in food quality and service, this is still our go-to.
We're lifelong Texans visiting Columbus for a second time and decided to try Monterrey Tex Mex despite our usual reluctance to try any Mexican restaurants out of state. This place is legit.We had a great meal and were very happy with the food, service, and prices. If Monterrey Tex Mex was located in Houston, I would absolutely add it to the rotation of my favorite Tex-Mex joints.
