“The food was great... My first time having a wing boil. I gave the service 3 stars because I asked for specific instructions on handling due to me having a severe seafood allergy and when I got there everything was in the same bag. Not only that, the bag was filled with butter making it real risky to drive back home almost two hrs without a big mess. I had to go back into the restaurant and get that fixed. Outside of that everything was fine. It was some young girls in there. THE OWNER need to make them aware that when a customer mentions a allergic to take it very serious. Someone's life is literally in their hands. I made them very aware of this when I called my order in and I was assured everything would be handled the way I asked. This was my first but not my last visit. I did make sure my EpiPen was near just in case. LOLUpdate....Thank you! SHE WAS A SWEETHEART THOUGH. I UPDATED YOU TO ALL 5 STARS. I appreciate you not taking my honest and opinionated review personally. It was definitely meant to educate, not slander. . MY FAMILY AND I will be back. :)”

“We were driving to columbus when we saw the smoke and decided that we would stop on our way back home. Was soooo worth the stop. The gentleman who prepared our food was so nice as well as the lady who check us out. But the food... 11/10. The ribs were some of the best ribs that I have had in a while, the mac and cheese fantasic, and the collard greens were delicious. I hope to go back very soon to try their other meals!”

“Saturday my husband and I were visiting family and looking for a place for lunch. The place we were originally going to was closed. I am not a huge breakfast eater, and unfortunately this place only serves breakfast on Saturday. I opted for a BLT. however, no fries, no tater tots or anything that wasn't breakfast. The sandwich was ok. The employees were very nice. My husband and I like supporting businesses that support veterans (husband is one), and public safety (I worked in the public safety arena as well as my dad was a police officer). We hope to go back and try something else on the menu....that isn't breakfast....lol”

“This hidden restaurant is such a delight. I live in Phenix City, and I was looking for some crawfish and this establishment came up near me in the city of Smith Station, Al. I arrived at the place to be told they didnt have crawfish until the weekend, but they did have a lot of other seafood. I got the Shrimp boil and Cajun seafood rice. Both were great. I didn't care for the sausage but everything else was very desirable. I returned a second time and I got the neck bone boil. Be aware I got the large and this will feed a small family and it's so good. Now for my meal today. I ordered the rideye steak medium well. The temperature was perfect and seasoned very well. For my sides, i ordered Mac and Cheese. The M&C is great very creamy and has a massive amount of cheese. Yes I am a cheese fan so I loved it. My Second side was mashed potatoes with extra gravy. It was good but not great. Now let's talk about the cooks. They are super friendly and very well spoken. Just know all food is made fresh so I love it. So if you don't have time, just come when you have the time. This restaurant is a must eat at if you are in Phenix City, Smith Station, Al or Columbus, GA. It's great soul food and america cuisine. Please plan a visit and support this business.”

“Consistently good food and service plus it’s always clean! A great local business to support. Great portion sizes with cash prices (to avoid credit card fee) and you don’t even have to fight traffic because it’s right here in our backyard of Smiths Station!”

“This chesters is great. I visited on a Sunday after noon, around 2 pm, and Jessi P. Went out of her way to get me precisely what I wanted. Even though it wasn't quite on the menu. I really like the sweet pepper sauce. I asked if I could get the sweet pepper sauce on the big chicken strip, instead of the little chicken bites, she made it happen. She offered to toss some strips in sauce, I asked if I could just have some sauce in a cup. Which she did for me. Hope that doesn't get her in trouble. Thanks Jessi P. For Makin it happen.”

“The food here is amazing! And so is the service. Reservations are not required, but recommended. It takes approximately 40 minutes for them to make your meal. And it is so worth it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Cafe 431 is a hidden gem well worth finding. When you walk in you can seat yourself and the service is impeccable. We went in for breakfast and was served quite expeditiously. The ambience reminds me of an old fashioned diner with down home charm. The food is very good with biscuits to die for. Will I be back? I went back 3 days later and plan to go back again. This will definitely be my breakfast spot in Phenix City. I give 431 Cafe 2 THUMBS UP!!! I will post pics the next time I'm there.”

“This was a very pleasant experience. Great menu. Good service. Super flavorful and tasty food. My only complaint was the salad, pretty much completely raw onions, not a fan. But otherwise, I’d definitely go back. Wanted dessert but a was so very very full. Highly recommended!!”

“Y’all we discovered an amazing new (to us) place in Columbus ..we were greeted by a friendly smiling staff as soon as we walked in and it was genuine kindness not fake and oh my soul and body was the food delicious…I mean really really delicious..the owner miss Parker brought us our food and chatted for a few mins and she’s a sweet lady..they have amazing coffee as well and tons and tons of sugar free latte options..Melissa my wife commented that it was like stepping back in time to when food quality was excellent and when the restaurant staff cared about your experience….yall please give them a try…..our faves were the Ruben and the roast beef hot pressed sandwiches and butternut squash soup..I was Leary about trying squash soup but it was so delicious I could eat it every day…”
