The ambience reminds me of an old fashioned diner with down home charm. The food is very good with biscuits to die for. Will I be back? I went back 3 days later and plan to go back again. My son loves pizza but he loves toppings and the lady said they can do a pepperoni pizza, I said that’ll be great. I was charged extra for the pepperoni (which I was not instructed of). But before ordering our entrees, I ordered the garlic knots which were about 7$ and it was labeled as an appetizer, so I assumed I would be able to snack on them with my 2 year old as we wait. I got chicken Alfredo and about 20-30 mins I was wondering where the appetizer was but within a few seconds of that thought, it came with the rest of our food. I was disappointed because at that point I didn’t need the knots as my chicken Alfredo also came with the breads too. I asked if the chicken Alfredo was a big portion since it alone was 22$ and the lady insisted it was, and I would be able to split it into 2 but I honestly feel, that wasn’t the case, and paying 22$ for a single entree is ridiculous when it’s something so simple such as chicken Alfredo. My son’s pizza was about 11$ too. Drinks were 3$ a piece. They do offer military discount but that’s 7% unlike the minimum 10% we normally get. They offered for me to pay in cash for a cheaper transaction that would’ve made my bill less than 2$ cheaper. I felt we could’ve been checked on just a tad bit more and as I stated it was our first time there, she could’ve suggested some options especially with the menus having no pictures of things to grasp a child’s eye to eat.”

I was there for a delivery service, and he proceeded to check on the order and notified me that they were completing the order and kept me informed step by step on the completion of the order. At the end of my order, they thanked me for my patience, and I wished them a good night . In unison, they all said, "You too ma'am!!! I walked away with a smile on my face because these young men were running a busy store on a weeknight seamlessly and with a wonderful personality!! Corporate, I hope you are proud of these gentlemen because they represent what this store needs!! I can promise you that I've been here for years, and this is the greatest experience I've had and I even called back to the store that night when my delivery shift was over to express my gratitude to this awesome group of exceptional individuals!!”

“I placed an over the phone order for my wife to pick up on her way home. I was blessed to get Kate on the phone, because she was an absolute delight. She helped me make a good decision for our dinner plans, talked me through some other menu options, and made the entire process really pleasant! My wife was able to walk in, grab our meal, and make it home with everything still being crispy and hot! She said that the staff was so friendly and welcoming. I come here for lunch on occasion, but I've never placed an order over the phone with them. I really enjoyed my experience and we will be adding Yardbirds to our regular eat out nights!”

“We went on a Saturday evening in February. We expected the restaurant to be busy but were surprised just how busy they were. We have not seen a crowd like this since before beginning of pandemic. Parking lot was overflowing but we managed to snag a spot after circling the lot a couple of times. We had to wait almost an hour for a table due to the restaurant being hit by several large groups that night. We finally got a table. I expected to have to still wait for service but was surprised to have our drink order taken almost immediately. Server promptly brought our drinks and took order for our meal. We got our salads very quickly and steaks were delivered just before we finished our salad. Food was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Price was reasonable for the meal we ordered. “I've always enjoyed the Crawford deli even when Ms Chong owned it I really do miss Mr Archie I'm just serious loss but it's under a new ownership same name same establishment and please don't take this the wrong way Miss Chong but to cook there is just phenomenal I hope you're not in a hurry because the place is so packed proof send the atmosphere it wasn't good you wouldn't have returning customers consistently every day and for just two women to run the place they do it on a fine job to women are doing what five used to every day they've got a special and you can't basically go anywhere for lunch for under $10 anywhere nowadays but you definitely get your money's worth there I highly recommend your Crawford deli on highway 80”

“I went to Popeye's on Hwy 80 on Monday. I ordered a leg, wing, and wanted some macaroni. I was told very sternly that I can't just order that and that it would need to be a meal which would have a biscuit. I asked could we leave the biscuit off and was told that it was free, but that it would could with my food. No problem! I got to the window and I slipped up and asked for a cup of water, offering to pay if there was a charge, and you would have thought that I cursed or something. The young lady rolled her eyes so hard that they could have fallen out of her head. She proceeded to give me the water, but with no receipt after I paid for my order. Rude doesn't really sum up the attitudes of some of these people. I truly believe that when it starts coming down to customer service alone, as to whether businesses get customers... this Popeyes will be out of business. This young lady REALLY needs to get it together. Despite this, my food hot, order correct, and the young lady did give me napkins and needed condiments, so it wasn't all bad!”

I was disappointed because at that point I didn’t need the knots as my chicken Alfredo also came with the breads too. I asked if the chicken Alfredo was a big portion since it alone was 22$ and the lady insisted it was, and I would be able to split it into 2 but I honestly feel, that wasn’t the case, and paying 22$ for a single entree is ridiculous when it’s something so simple such as chicken Alfredo. My son’s pizza was about 11$ too. Drinks were 3$ a piece. They do offer military discount but that’s 7% unlike the minimum 10% we normally get. They offered for me to pay in cash for a cheaper transaction that would’ve made my bill less than 2$ cheaper. I felt we could’ve been checked on just a tad bit more and as I stated it was our first time there, she could’ve suggested some options especially with the menus having no pictures of things to grasp a child’s eye to eat.”

“I went to Popeye's on Hwy 80 on Monday. I ordered a leg, wing, and wanted some macaroni. I was told very sternly that I can't just order that and that it would need to be a meal which would have a biscuit. I asked could we leave the biscuit off and was told that it was free, but that it would could with my food. No problem! I got to the window and I slipped up and asked for a cup of water, offering to pay if there was a charge, and you would have thought that I cursed or something. The young lady rolled her eyes so hard that they could have fallen out of her head. She proceeded to give me the water, but with no receipt after I paid for my order. Rude doesn't really sum up the attitudes of some of these people. I truly believe that when it starts coming down to customer service alone, as to whether businesses get customers... this Popeyes will be out of business. This young lady REALLY needs to get it together. Despite this, my food hot, order correct, and the young lady did give me napkins and needed condiments, so it wasn't all bad!”

“Absolutely wonderful service and some of the best hospitality. STEP was on her game.. literally some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. The food was AMAZING . I got the first omelet on the page chunky something another, it looked just like the picture. I got the double pancakes, OMG extremely well prepared, they as well looked like the picture. Props to the cook, baby you did an amazing job as well. If you decide to go ask for STEP, and I'll pray you get the same cook. Great job I hop staff. Oh yea, shout out to the hostess this evening as well. You all done a fantastic job!”

“The food is good however for three people to eat the other day it was $37I don't think I can afford to eat there especially for dang tacos. Way not worth the money spent but it was good.”

“This was my third time at El Vaquero. I eat here when I visit my parents, two hours from home. Prices are good, food is great, service is excellent. I took my elderly parents recently and the staff was beyond kind and considerate.I've found a new favorite Mexican eatery away from home!”

“I been coming here for 2 weeks now ordering a Medium Hot Vanilla Chai Tea. I have been charged 2 different prices. I notice that depending on the person they will charge me an extra vanilla swirl but it taste the same as one shot of vanilla swirl. Yall pay attention to what you pay for and make sure you aren’t being over charged.”
