“I can't speak on the service or ambiance because this order was a pick up however, the food was pretty good. I had the grilled shrimp and they were seasoned to perfection. As my side I ordered cheese grits, They could have used a little salt in my opinion but they were still good. My plate also came with coleslaw and hush puppies. The hush puppies were delicious.“

“First time here....had appetizer fried green tomatoes and crab cake, 2 waters, ribeye with Mac n cheese and brussel sprouts and double bone in pork chop with Mac n cheese, strawberry cheesecake. Food was very good! Cheesecake is phenomenal but should be expected because dessert at some of the other local fine dining spots that have the same owner, are also phenomenal! I'm very picky about mac n cheese but this was very good, appropriately cheesy and seasoned well. Pork chop and the sauce was delicious! My husband loved his crab cake and grits appetizer. Our friends really liked their buffalo chicken dip appetizer! The place had a line as soon as they opened at 5pm on Saturday and filled up quick!! Waiter was so nice and made sure everything was just how we wanted it, I wish I remembered his name! Definitely will go back!!“
“This is a true treasure in Phenix City Alabama delicious Comfort soul food this young lady and her family recipes are truly delightful I must say the cornbread is awesome it's a sweet cornbread the kind that I like I'm from California and we do our corn bread on the sweeter side it's not that down home cornbread southern style which I do like sometime but I truly love the sweet cornbread the food here plentiful delicious and makes you want to slap your mama but the sign on the door said don't slap your mama that's not nice the young lady Miss Lucy is so kind I recommend anyone just stop by and try anything on the menu all the food here is goodKid-friendliness: do not have a kids menu as far as the eye can see they have a great little table with an extra large checkerboard attached how fun is that for the kiddos“
“Food is okay. Squash is always good. However, the other vegetables aren’t as good. Cabbage taste gross & the noodles from the Mac & cheese is always over cooked. Idk if it sits on the line too long or what but if they can make those small changes i would literally eat here everyday.“
“I love Minnie’s. The food is so good that I would eat here no matter what. However, this place is run by some of the nicest people in town. I ordered a pan of cornbread dressing to bring to our work thanksgiving potluck. I picked it up frozen the day before and after 20 hrs in the fridge and an hour in the oven, it was time to leave the house and my dressing was still not ready. I called Minnie’s in a panic to ask if they had another hot one I could pick up right then, and they did. Even though it was not their fault, they were incredibly accommodating and refused to let me pay for the second pan. They were so kind and absolutely saved the day. And most importantly, the dressing was piping hot and absolutely delicious. Thank you, Minnie’s. ?“
“Crème De La Crème hosted my son and Daughter-in-Law’s baby shower on 4:22/23 and I must say that it truly lived up to my expectations! Family and friends are still talking about the fantastic food, the presentation, the atmosphere and the professionalism of the staff! I will definitely be utilizing this company again as well as giving recommendations for their services to others!!Vegetarian options: There were several dishes that satisfied the vegetarian palate-all of it prepared tastefully and presented beautifully.Kid-friendliness: All of the dishes as well as the decor were acceptable for any aged child. “This has got to be the very best soul food restaurant I’ve ever experienced! The food is always hot and delicious. The staff has that friendly southern flair.The owner Sandra (I believe that’s her name) was friendly and made sure our visit went well.We don’t mind taking the drive from Atlanta to Columbus for the best soul food ever.The baked chicken and ribs were very tasty. The peach Cobbler is so good, get it to go if you are full after your meal so you don’t miss out!Parking: There is plenty of spacious parking so no worries there.“
