“The place was empty and clean for Alabama. The food was pretty good except the fries were old and yucky. My biggest complaint was the staff cared more about carrying on their conversation than taking my order. Ok working there must be dull but damn. Americans better wake up.“
“Food: Yummy. Biscuits remind me of my mama's. Had a wrap (cannot remember the name, but it had fried chicken, pimento cheese, hot honey) and it was great. The cheddar grits were lukewarm, hence the -1 star. Ordered a biscuit on the side (because you should always order the staple at a restaurant, especially if it is in their name!). So good!! Our server, Tanya, was quick, friendly,, and thoughtful- she even added a cup of sprite on our table so my son could continue filling his drink during the busy lunch hour. She could tell that we were in a hurry (he was on his lunch break) and brought our check and need to go box quickly when we asked for it. This is a really cute restaurant The ambience mirrors many of the ones downtown. This would make a great place to hold an event- which they do offer“
“First time here....had appetizer fried green tomatoes and crab cake, 2 waters, ribeye with Mac n cheese and brussel sprouts and double bone in pork chop with Mac n cheese, strawberry cheesecake. Food was very good! Cheesecake is phenomenal but should be expected because dessert at some of the other local fine dining spots that have the same owner, are also phenomenal! I'm very picky about mac n cheese but this was very good, appropriately cheesy and seasoned well. Pork chop and the sauce was delicious! My husband loved his crab cake and grits appetizer. Our friends really liked their buffalo chicken dip appetizer! The place had a line as soon as they opened at 5pm on Saturday and filled up quick!! Waiter was so nice and made sure everything was just how we wanted it, I wish I remembered his name! Definitely will go back!!“

“The pizza from here is great! Rising Flour Pizza has become a weekly thing for my family. The crust and cook on both the pizza and cinna sticks are always perfect! I've been to nearly every pizza place in town, this is definitely in the top two. The only thing I think could make their pizza even better is if the pizza sauce were to be a bit thicker.“

“I ate lunch there yesterday after having gotten up at 3:45 that morning to drive my stepmom to Jack Hughston hospital to have back surgery. I was exhausted and trying to take care of her and help her get out with her walker. I left my purse sitting in a chair at our table and never missed it until I got out at my house in Americus. I drove over an hour home and never thought about it. Glad I didn’t get stopped by a cop. I only missed it when I got out and it wasn’t there. I immediately called and Christina told me she found it right after we left and locked it up in the managers office. Since my daughter lives there I sent her to get it. Everything was still there. My cash, credit cards and my pistol. Nothing had been disturbed. I’m so appreciative of this honest young lady. It really restored my faith in people. Kudos to her parents for raising a decent, honest and hardworking young lady. Please go support this establishment and tell Christina what a fine young lady she is. The food is great too.“

“Catalina Dressing is the only reason I gave it 4 stars on the food. This is my favorite place, I eat here atleast twice a week, the staff & managers are amazing. They make me enjoy coming here to eat & I am always by myself & never feel alone. I know you will get even more people if you have Catalina Dressing & maybe even 1 or 2 more other dressings options... especially during these holidays since so many people are out shopping & wanting a healthy & wonderful place to eat for lunch or dinner in the mixed of all this shopping. Since there is not an actual meat option for the salad we should atleast have more salad dressings mainly Catalina...it's a much loved dressing. You can also give us ham or turkey option if you want too but surely the salad dressing.“
