My hubby and I did a drive by of this restaurant on the way home. What a gem! The owner is a delightful you man but the food was amazing. We tried the Bulgogi, yellow curry, and Masaman. All were delicious, but the yellow curry was divine. Great job chef!!
Absolutely recommend! Wonderful service! Fabulously fresh, made to order cuisine! So flavorful. Large portions. Felt comfortable seeking education on the dishes, the owner was so welcoming, open and friendly! Will definitely be back. We happened to walk into an empty, intimate, dining room, I would however recommend making a reservation, especially for groups of 4 or more.
Thai Orchid is a great little Thai place. It’s like going in to someone’s home and having your personal chef! Excellent customer service too.

Thai Orchid Kitchen LLC is a highly recommended, lowkey spot right off Veterans Parkway, located in a small house turned into a Thai restaurant. The excellent food is made even better by wonderful hospitality and great service. The owner is very friendly and kind, an Army Retired guy, and the staff are really nice. Food quantities are superb and the quality is also something. The Yellow curry is delicious, the pineapple stir fry is equally as good, and the chicken pad Thai, spicy, is a lot with leftovers for a couple days. Many believe this is the best tom yum soup in the country, and the tom yum is so good customers order one to go. It is easily top 5 Thai food eaten in a lifetime. The restaurant is pretty small, just a few tables, so calling ahead to make sure there is an open table is recommended. The overall atmosphere is solid, and the price is really good. It is a super underrated joint that everyone should know about, and Columbus people should definitely eat here frequently.
