I have been trying to find a BBQ place to replace my favorite since we moved here, and I found it!! I got the pulled pork plate and the pork was perfect! Great flavor, moist, just perfect! I also got the Brunswick stew and baked potato. The stew was very good and would get that again! I am not usually impressed with a potato because there is not much to it, but the potato was super good as well. Not sure how they cook those, but keep doing that! I’m sure after the rave review, why only 4 stars? My husband had the brisket plate. Unfortunately, the brisket was dry and when you pay that much, you want it to be good. Do I care? Yes, but no. I will definitely go back for the pulled pork and he will give the brisket another try. Some days just don’t go as planned when cooking. So, if you are in Opelika, definitely try this place. It is totally worth the stop! Not pictured this time, I was hungry!

Ordered the pulled pork plate. I had 70% fat and 30% meat. The pork was delicious but not near enough meat. The cole slaw was different but good. The Brunswick stew was ok, but too spicy for me.

Works inside are very friendly and helpful, and are appreciative of your business
The food is EXCELLENT. I had the wings, sausage, stew, and beans. Cornbread could use a little butter but everything else was perfect
Definitely come here if youre on the fence, as BBQ can drastically hit or miss. This is a hit. Get the vinegar sauce to keep it light

It's a little cramped in the dining area. BBQ is good but the stew only has corn tomatoes and meat... a little odd for the south
A good place, until cockroaches appear under the table. My family and I recently went there and noticed something was different. When we checked underneath, we saw at least three cockroaches. It was very unpleasant.

I visited this place with my son last week, and the poor treatment they give to disabled people is frustrating. The staff treated us like garbage, practically refusing to serve us. When I requested a table somewhere else so as not to disturb anyone, they refused, expressing their annoyance with unfriendly expressions. I will never return.

Unbelievable soft tender, fall apart brisket. I just found my new favorite bbq! The brisket bark to is super tasty, moist perfect rings of smokey and just incredible. Words are escaping me at the moment! Love their vinegar base sauce as well as the homemade dill pickles that are thin sliced with just the right amount of vinegar and spices. I will be back here very soon! Thank you so much for the incredible bbq!!
