Well this is a difficult post because Kara was very nice; however, the product was not good. It was my daughter’s first baby shower and we order a1/2 sheet cake that was dry and crumbling, chocolate strawberries that were bland and the chocolate tasted artificial, the cake pops were very doughy, and the candy did not have much of a presentation. For what we paid, I expected more details to align with our theme and just wanted the treats to be flavorable. Unfortunately, Cakes by Kara did not deliver quality product.

I used this business for my baby shower. This was my first baby and I was super excited about the treats! The owner was extremely polite. However, I was very disappointed with all of the items I received. I ordered candied apples, strawberries, cake pops, and a sheet cake. Nothing was how I expected for it to turn out. The presentation, the taste and flavor….I would probably not order from here again, but again the owner was polite. My money was wasted, unfortunately; the treats were supposed to be one of the main highlights for my guests.

We had to have a special order with gluten free and dairy free. It’s hard to find someone that can master this and it still taste good. But she did not disappoint!! They were by far the best cupcakes we have ever had. She made it a great experience with answering my 101 questions that I had. She was fast in responses and just a kind spirit. We will definitely be using her again in the future

Kara was amazing and made the most delicious and beautiful cookies for the Tri Sigma sorority bid day. She went out of her way to design and decorate the cookies and they were a huge hit! And she is so easy and sweet to work with!

The cake and cupcakes were exceptional based on the taste (homemade), flavor, texture and design. My guidelines were followed to the Letter. I highly recommend Cakes By Kara because my family gave the treats a big thumbs up 👍.
