Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I had a call in order was told it will be ready in 15 mins. I know most business are short staff so I waited 30 mins instead of the 15 STILL had to wait a hour and ask how much longer. Spoke with the manager to ask her how long after asking cashier. She said let me check never came back to tell me or apologizes but sent message over headset for cashier to tell me it was still in the window, a few more mins. I joined the rewards program but definitely won’t need it won’t be going back for a while. After waiting a hour the food wasn’t all that good.

Fish was overcooked, vegetables were cold when I received them and had to ask another waiter to find our waitress just to get refills. Worst service I’ve ever had here!

Table spacing in front of windows was off and was very cramped. Waitress was nice but took to long to every request. Food was awesome as usual.

First time I received a complete order! Nothing missing! Pinto beans were dry, greens were salty, cornbread was dry, mac and cheese tasted like it came out of a box! best thing was the meatloaf

I travel frequently and I must say this is the worst experience I've ever had at any Cracker Barrel in the country. I literally had to stand up front and wait for almost 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge I was standing there to be seated. The coffee was good but the food was absolutely horrible. The bacon was absolutely burnt to a crisp, the eggs were cold and the grits were as runny as soup. When I left and went up front to pay, once again, no one was up front and I had to wait there for almost 10 more minutes for someone to come up and take my payment. Come on Cracker Barrel, you can do much better than this!

Our waiter was great. The food was not hot, the biscuits were over baked and hard. The creamed potatoes were clumpy, hard, and cold. Cracker Barrell is unfortunately a hit and miss kind of place. We love the food when it's served fresh and hot, but so disappointing otherwise.

I rated food a "3" because 2 of the 3 meals were good; one was BAD!! When the server came back at towards the end of the meal and saw one plate (big bowl) still full she asked if we needed a to-go box and the guest said, no - it wasn't good at all. It was chicken & dumplings (minus the chcken actually) that were just globs of dough. The server said 'oh, the dumplings are doughy and not good, right? Yea, we get that complaint all the time. They cook them in the morning and when people order (this was before 6 PM) after the noon hour - they're like this.' She never offered to swap them or offer any apology - only - 'yea, I know.' We had all had a very tiresome and stressful day and just didn't feel like pursuing the issue.

The worst experience ever! We were a party of 3. We all got our food at different times instead of being served together so we could all eat together. Had to ask for a takeout container 4 times. The manager came & asked how things were & then just blew us off. I will never step foot in this establishment again. The food was mediocre, the salad didn't have much edible lettuce in it. It was a horrible experience!
