We stopped here for dinner. The food was great the service was quick. The lighting needs to be fixed though, a balast was going out in the light over our booth the constant blinking lead to a very quick meal just to get out of there

Had a nice time the other night. Durango is a great local Mexican restaurant with delicious truly Mexican food. The service is too notch and friendly. Endless supply of salsa and warm chips. The Fajitas were delicious and of course enough to take some home. Margaritas were not just out of a bottle mix.
I would only suggest they dim the overhead can lights. Felt like we were going on stage.

Upon arriving in the area after being on the road since 9 pm. on Tuesday from TX. We decided to get food from a place where we are coming from and see every day. We're in El Paso, TX, so trust and believe authenticity is there. Ordered beef quesadilla, wife had enchiladas. Started out ok as for the food, but stomach and chest took a turn for the worse later. The wife ate very little and needed a to go box. Why is it the waitress tells us it's a charge for plastic ware? That in itself is asinine, at the least. How can you charge paying customers for cutlery? 🤦🏾

Very mediocre would be a compliment. Got a Togo order and it was so hot when they boxed it that it melted the Styrofoam box it was in and didn't realize it till I got home so I had to go back and get them to make it again because it was literally all melted in the Styrofoam. Dude up front wasn't the most friendly and bad customer service upsets me more than bad food. There was a gnat that flew out of my lettuce/sourcream box so that's lovely...

Good food for a great price. We have visited this location for over 10 years with no bad experiences. It is worth a try. Their lunch menu is very reasonable.

We went to Durango for lunch today, 1 o’clock on a Sunday, and the food was sooo good. The strawberry daiquiri was great, the steak fajitas were marinated and came with a lime wedge which I thought was a nice addition. We usually go to the place across from Sam’s but their steak is sliced so thin and not flavorful at all, so this was such a pleasant surprise. The chips were warm and not paper thin which we loved. My husband’s plate was clean at the end and he said the pico de gallo on top of his burrito verde was really good, and he usually *hates* tomatoes! So we were both pretty shocked. We only had to wait a few minutes after we were done for the server to come back so we were glad since sometimes that can be super frustrating to wait for when you’re ready to leave. The service was great, everyone was very nice, even the server assistant that offered us more chips when we were low. Plus the music was pleasant and relaxing, not too loud, and it wasn’t freezing cold inside like some places. So overall a great experience and it’s now our go-to spot for Mexican.
Edit- we went again recently around 2:30 on a Saturday and no one else was in there (of course)… but the food was STILL spot on! Consistent, clean, friendly, speedy, delicious! I mean really, what more can you ask for??
