The food was decent, smaller portions than some other spots but still satisfactory. Menu is much easier to understand if you can read korean. Biggest issue was a cockroach in the food. Yuck.

I visited Gohyang Garden Korean Restaurant and tried the duck jumulleok, ramen, pork cutlet, tteokbokki, and soft tofu stew (오리 주물럭, 라면, 돈가스, 떡볶이, 순두부 찌개). Everything was delicious and the tteokbokki stood out as my favorite. Honestly, their snack-style dishes (분식) were so good that this place could easily succeed as a Korean street food spot. Highly recommend if you enjoy tasty Korean comfort food 😋

We used to go this place because of the nearest location with limited lunch time.

I often eat in this restaurant. I always liked the barbecue at this restaurant, but I didn't realize that this meal made me angry. First, the store said on Google that it was open at 4 p.m., but when we got there at 4:10, there were no waiters, and the waiters arrived in a hurry half an hour later. The waiter spilled sauce on the table during the service and did not provide us with water the whole time. We ordered the large barbecue Combo, but the portion we were served was not as large as the smaller barbecue Combo I had ordered the previous few times. We asked the waitress to explain why the portion was wrong this time, and she just said very impatiently, that's the way it is, meat is expensive. To appeal her service, we are not going to tip. She asked us for a tip, and I told her that she had a very bad service attitude this time, and I couldn't give any tip. And this waitress gave me this really nasty look. I will never come to this store again. They have lost me as a regular customer.

We ordered 3 menu. Calamari & Pork Belly Hot Spicy, rice and bulgogi and rice in the hot pot with beef and veggies. The menu rice in the hot pot with beef and veggies is not really good as our expectations especially almost no beef. It is in the video. I hope you will improve it. We recommended the calamari & pork belly hot spicy.

In the summer, cold bean noodles (Kong-Gooksoo) are the specialty of this Korean restaurant.

Kimbap was hard, Korean pancake is undercooked, side dishes such as kimchi and anchovies tasted unfresh. Quite disappointed with the overall

The spicy squid dish was not spicy and had very few vegetables. The yaki mandu was soaked with oil. The food is not prepared properly. I've been to this restaurant many times in the last 3 years. The food has become terrible. I was charged an 18% tip. The waitress did not check on me, only delivered the food.

Pretty good authentic Korean food and I believe it runs by a Korean family (?) so you can trust the tastes.
We ordered spicy rice cake, tofu soup and cold noodle (pic not included). We craved for rice cake for a while so we kinda enjoyed this dish much. To chill down the spiciness, Korean cold noodle (냉면) is a good option. You can adjust the flavor by putting either vinegar or mustard. In this cold and rainy weather, I suggest to have tofu soup serving with rice. There are 3 options- seafood, beef, or mixed. I got mixed one but the flavor of seafood was a bit overly.
Will try different dishes next time. Overall it’s tasty!
