As much as I want to love this place… It has been a disappointment so many times, over the years. My husband still goes for the wings and the location. They are often out of usual menu items. Hubs got take away today. Fish and chips. Honestly, save yourself the money and pop the same into your air fryer, because that’s what it is. Blah. Frozen and fried. Can we pls get some good restaurants in downtown Opelika?!?? On a positive note: Great location!

My family and I love Jefferson’s! Every time we go the service is always great, and the food comes out fast and fresh. The owner always comes around and greets every table and asks how everything was. The atmosphere is very cozy and definitely has that “sports bar” feel that you can take your family to. My kids love to play with the rocks and chalk while we wait on our food.

Waited 30 mins for cold wings and hot fries. Was supposed to get 5 pc all flat and they only brought me 3 flat wings to go with the cold wings I had. Safe to say I won’t be back. Server was non accommodating didn’t care

Started with cold fries, then everyone got their orders at complete different times, and ended somehow with more cold fries. By the time the first person was done eating only the 3rd plate had been brought out. 2 sets of people ordered the exact same meal and theirs, weirdly, were all brought out at different times. Were 2 cheese steaks on the same ticket made 30 mins apart? Finally got my food as everyone finished their food, only to have to ask for the fries that weren't with my sandwich, which, you guessed it, were cold.

When ordering, my husband asked the waitress about what beers they had. Our waitress seems annoyed that he asked. Secondly, my kid and I ordered a 12 piece boneless to share. They brought one out in a backet and states the others will be up shortly. It was one order. They should have came out together. Move forward the next 6 came out but into the piece of chicken and it was half raw. Needless to say I gave them back. My beef is that we got not so much as an I’m sorry that happened. Please take our apologies on this matter. And no I didn’t expect anything other than just common courtesy. We eat out a lot and by far some of the worst service I have ever had.

Always a pleasant experience with great service. We had Angie as our server tonight. She is always attentive and smiling. I appreciate the management, the wait staff and the cooks. The food always seems fresh and well prepared. It is a great hometown neighborhood eatery and watering hole.
