Mariscos Playa Azul is an absolutely wonderful restaurant! We were looking for a place that wasn’t slap full on a Friday night, and came across this little gem. Hopefully after this review you all can change that! Our host Amador really made a good experience into a truly great one. He was so friendly and attentive. I had the carne asada, and as a serial carne asada order-er, I can speak with authority on this matter. Theirs is tender, well seasoned, and comes sizzling to you on a bed of onions. It comes with spring onions and a pepper as well. My husband had street tacos and didn’t even offer me a bite to try before he finished them quickly. What I think is really interesting is the wide variety of seafood offered. This feels like a restaurant you’d only find on the Gulf Coast and I highly recommend coming here!
