Went for a double date and there was a middle school “sneaker ball” but staff made sure we were taken care of and did it all with a smile. Kat was polite and efficient at the bar as well. This night was the dinner before I proposed and Zazu’s will forever be part of our memories!
Use to be my go to place. Show up 5 minutes late for a reservation and you're screwed even if you call and give them a heada up.

Fish tacos were terrible. Very few chunks of fish, almost no cheese, salsa jalapeños hot, chips white and boring, worth about $3, not $12. Asked serve for an alternative dip, brought out chipotle, much milder, but overall unattractive dish with no substance.

I visited this restaurant for the first time with my son for lunch, and it was an experience we won’t soon forget! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and our server set the tone for a fantastic meal with friendly, attentive, and timely service.
My son ordered the Pimento Burger with Duck fries, and it was everything you’d hope for and more—juicy, flavorful, and topped with the perfect amount of creamy pimento cheese. The Duck fries added an extra level of richness, cooked to perfection with a crispy exterior and a soft, fluffy interior.
I went for the Brisket Sandwich with fries, and it was a revelation. The brisket was tender and smoky, paired with just the right amount of sauce to complement but not overwhelm the meat. The fries were classic and delicious, a satisfying side to a standout sandwich.
Every detail, from the food presentation to the careful attention of our server, made this meal memorable. We’re already planning our next visit!

We came in to grab a casual Sunday brunch after checking out downtown Opelika. There were no tables available as we were walk-ins, but the full service bar had plenty of space.
Kaitlyn took care of us well and made us feel comfortable for our first time sitting at a restaurant bar. We got the cheeseburger and pimento burger. The patties were really big and I had to eat mine with a fork and spoon, however no complaint at all as the flavour on the burger and fries were perfect. The meal does not come with condiments so make sure you order them separately. I highly recommend their chipotle aioli for the fries! I’m so addicted now.
Delicious food, great service, and a cozy atmosphere. We will be back!
