We were driving through town around dinner and stumbled across Zazu via yelp reviews and decided to give it a try. Best.decision.ever. Our server Tony was polite and professional. He provided awesome service. We started out with the poutine which was rich and flavorful. For entrees I had the smash burger and my son had the pimento cheese burger. We couldn’t decide which we liked better but we both agreed these were easily some of the best burgers we’ve ever had. Thank you Zazu for an amazing meal!

Today was my second visit here. My first one was Saturday a week ago, with my nephew and his wife. We have Saturday lunch then and I had Sunday brunch today. But I saw the Caesar salad with salmon that my niece in law ordered, I knew I had to come back and get that on my next visit. It was not on the brunch menu, but they were very accommodating. I recommend this place highly!

Staff is very friendly. Cam was my bartender a few times last week and her drinks are consistently amazing, especially the Blackberry Gold Rush. Her spicy margs are another favorite, just the right balance of flavors. Food-wise, the Gambler is my favorite burger in town, and I love the duck fat fries. The ambiance is chill and dreamy. Fantastic place to go for a date or just to grab a drink.

Located downtown in Auburn. We arrived Friday at 6:15p It’s street parking and regular businesses have closed and we were able to find a parking spot across the street. Inside there is upstairs, main floor and a small table for 8 or so ppl on the below floor.
Our party of 4 ordered burgers, chicken salad, duck fries and bread pudding.
The burgers were good based off my friends. My salad is just a salad! Nothing spectacular!
The bread pudding with the ice cream was very rich! We could not finish it! It’s was ok! Our tab $68 our friends was over $100 bc they got appetizers and drinks! I found the menu limiting! The logo looks like a fish but not much fish.
This is a good spot for casual eating with friends! It’s a one and done for us! The duck fries was the highlight!

A little gem in the middle of downtown Opelika! Hush puppy appetizers were a little overdone, but the sweet sauce and whipped cream cheese made up for any shortcomings. Stuffed portobello was really tasty! And the Texas Shrimp & Grits - whoa Nelly! Never had anything quite like it anywhere else, coming back for more!

Went for a double date and there was a middle school “sneaker ball” but staff made sure we were taken care of and did it all with a smile. Kat was polite and efficient at the bar as well. This night was the dinner before I proposed and Zazu’s will forever be part of our memories!
