I had the pot roast, mashed potatoes, Lima beans with a roll, lemon cake for dessert and an iced tea for only $12.95. The flavor was fantastic. They do have a small dining area, which was a surprise (I thought it was takeout only). They offer burgers, fries, chicken strips, also.. but the plate lunch is the best deal (and, changes daily. Call ahead to find out the daily deal). I am so glad I found this place.

My husband and I have eaten here numerous times over the years but tonight I ordered the grilled shrimp salad. It is good value for the cost, which seems to not be the case so many other places. It definitely made a satisfying supper!! The service was great, too! We waited maybe 10 minutes at the most from the time we ordered until our meals were delivered to the table. I normally get a burger here and they are delicious as well. Based on the diversity of their menu I would say that most folks could find something they like on it.

not on the main drag but worth finding. super food and friendly service. Firehouse Club is great. we were staying at Frank Jackson State Park which is nice!

Small building, big flavor!! I was pretty dang surprised by what looked to be a hotdog stand! They have juat as good if not better food than I have had at most places! Smoked chicken quarters, tasty cole slaw, Ribs, Burgers, and even do Breakfast!

The inside dining is open again. It was especially frustrating that the pandemic caused the inside dining to temporarily close at Benton's because they had just completely remodeled the inside dining area. But the walk-up ordering remained open, the menu remained the same, and the food remained just as tasty. I was very surprised to read reviews about less than friendly service. I have not experienced anything other than the opposite, extremely friendly and efficient service. Our favs are the shrimp, chili dogs, milkshakes, and especially the grilled chicken salad which has shredded cheese, croutons, sauteéd onions & bell peppers, and bacon. I recommend calling ahead if you want carry-out during dinner time and don't want to wait 10-15 mins. Everything is made to order, not sitting around waiting to be ordered.
