Original review — I was so excited to try this coffee shop out! I love trying new coffee places and the aesthetic was right up my ally but when I walked in I quickly felt out of place. I wasn’t greeted upon entering and despite there being 3+ workers no one took my order until another customers drink was complete.. the girls were just sitting around which I thought was weird.. then I finally ordered and moved to the side to wait on my drink to be finished when another lady walks in and was greeted. It’s a good thing it was almost an hour from me because I won’t be back. The coffee was just okay.. nothing special and I have had way better in Enterprise.

We had THE BEST experience yesterday at the Opp Alabama location! It was the last day of our vacation and through Google we found them. The atmosphere was absolutely adorable with all of the bee decor. The staff went above and beyond and was so knowledgeable about the drinks. My little crew has issues with citrus and milk and they were able to offer awesome drinks for each of us depending on our specific likes and needs. The staff was so friendly and our drinks were amazing!

This is a hidden jem in Opp. Very clean, very good coffee drinks. Hidden downtown, with parking in front and back. I recommend this place to meet friends or make new ones.

I would give this coffee shop 1 million stars if I could. I am a west coast coffee snob…that’s what my coworkers have named me. 😂😂 I stumbled across this cute coffee shop late night on Google and I made the hour trek to check it out. I was greeted with the warmest smiles!! …and the coffee…the BEST coffee I’ve had in years, if not ever. I’ll definitely be driving back and telling EVERYONE! Now if they can open a LA location..that’ll be great 😆

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would! I am a huge coffee drinker and this never disappoints! I live in the Carolina area of Andalusia and have made the trip out to Opp on several occasions to get a coffee if it's after 2PM and the Andalusia location is closed. I stick around for more than the coffee though, as the service provided by each location makes me feel like family. Grit + Grind has truly been a great addition to our community and I know more than several people who would agree! Thank you for the warm and friendly service Grit + Grind!! I look forward to buying my coffee from you for years to come!!
