Big Mike's Steakhouse - Orange Beach

I've had better steak in a gas station. Waited for over a hour for a table. I ordered a new York strip when I finally got it it was cold and over cooked definitely not worth the wait or the money!!!

This place knows how to grill meat. Flavor, cook temps, perfect charred rib cap. All were great. Service was as wonderful as it can be when you stay as busy as they do.

1 hr. & 50 min. Wait. Must be good but we couldn’t wait.

I can not rate it any different. We were told a 2 hour wait......um, the parking lot does not hold enough cars for it to be a 2 hour wait. We waited about 15 min and moved over to Doc's Seadood. That was a FANTASTIC decision!!

Got there around 4 to avoid a long wait, but they were already crowded. Said it would be 40 minutes, but we were welcome to go to the bar area in the back to wait. We did, and the time went by fast. Our seating was a bit cramped with 6 adults and a baby in a car seat. The food came out very timely and was delicious. That 8 oz baseball sirloin was amazing! Cooked perfect and the perfect portion with the best price. Im still dreaming of it! Will make this a must stop when we vacation here again!

This Big Mike’s location was underwhelming. I am a frequent visitor to the Andalusia location, so I know what to expect, and what I received at the Orange Beach location was depressing. I ordered the Mozzarella Sticks and was surprised to see they didn’t have the usual coating and were SUPER greasy and soggy. There was no firmness whatsoever. I didn’t even eat them and sent them back and did not receive an apology. If you go look at my Andalusia review, you will see an obvious difference in the Mozzarella image compared to the one below. The 16 oz Ribeye came out a lot smaller than normal as well and was tough. Andalusia location it is from now on, although I will be trying the Auburn and Guntersville location too. I travel all throughout Alabama for work. Hopefully they don’t disappoint.

Food tastes great and doesn’t take long to come. The server was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is nice. Parking lot is bad on a wet day because it’s rocks and dirt/sand.

Overall, I’d highly recommend!

Put this on your Dinner-Do list! Absolutely the best crab cakes I've ever had. Atmosphere, service, everything was amazing! Food was quick and the steak melts in your mouth! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️?

Best steak I've ever had, hands down. I had the Big Mike. The wife had a "regular" ribeye. They were amazing. Nothing else to say. Service was great. It was a little pricey, but worth it. Highly recommended.
