Cafe Beignet of Alabama OB

Horrible quality, total waste of money. Was super disappointing, paid $21 for a dozen beignets, all came out different sizes, inconsistent, sloppy and UNDERCOOKED. Majority of the batch was raw in the middle, like completely UNCOOKED DOUGH, chewy and nasty. I also had pieces of paper towel/parchment paper in the beignet. Ended up throwing them straight in the trash, disgusting! You can get sick eating raw dough, this is a serious health hazard! Clearly they care more about rushing the orders to make their closing time, rather than prioritize quality. If I could rate this a 0 ZERO I would. HORRIBLE!!! NASTY!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Fabulous beignets! Got the filled ones and they were hot and delicious. Front staff woman was very friendly as well. Definitely will be back.

Beignets, beignets, and more beignets. Very delicious, super fresh. Great service, and delicious beignets what more do I need to say. I didn’t think about it at the time but not sure if they have a dipping sauce, but that would have been a good addition, but obviously not needed because I ate everything without even thinking about it. Bring cash, sometimes the card machine goes down.

Absolutely horrible experience. Extremely rude service. Smelled strongly like cigar smoke at 10am. Went for breakfast but didn’t even end up ordering because it felt like we were burdening the staff by being there. Ordered coffee to go and it was luke warm and tasted like it had been sitting out all morning.

Rude interaction from the begging. Cigars being smoked right at the entrance - so the whole place smells like cigar smoke. Terrible coffee and experience all around.

Wow! These bignets were really disappointing. ☹️ All of ours were hard on the outside & hollow on the inside! We have a condo here & pick up a doz bignets at least 1X ea stay. They’ve always been wonderful. Only good thing I could say about these were that they were warm with plenty of sugar. Looked like bignets, tasted like crap.

Very fresh beignets! They seem made when you order. Very puffy and delicious. Different than NOLA but good. French vanilla iced Coffee was also delicious. The atmosphere is the only thing that could use some upgrading. Older gentleman posted out front, smoking cigars, gawking at women makes it less desirable.

We stopped in on a whim and were very impressed with the service and quality of the food. The iced coffee and beignets were excellent. Highly recommend

Not a great spot for tourists or influencers.

Beignets were delicious, but this location has much to be desired in the maintenance department and front of house. In much need of upgrades and repairs. Front of house was poorly served by what appeared to be a retired nurse. She was wearing scrubs and could lose her strict bedside manner and adopt some standard hostess manners.

When walking in, there really isn’t much welcome, instruction, “have you been here before?” Or “welcome in”. She will quite literally just stare at you and might offer you a menu.

one of the best if not the best places to get beignets in orange beach every time i have come here ive left happy i highly recommend this place to anyone!!! ive been coming here for 10+ years!
