Another perfect couples getaway at the only place you should stay in Orange Beach. The size of the 3 bedroom units are amazing and the expansive balconies w/grills and hot tubs are just over the top. Super quiet and clean. Fast elevators and easy covered parking. The staff are always friendly and prompt. They have heated the lazy river pool during the cooler days and that was the bomb for us adults to chill out. Make sure you book with spectrum as they have a free breakfast buffet daily. We can't wait to go back in September.

Friends of ours got sick after staying here. Severe illness diagnosed as legionnaires disease. Subsequent to this it has been discovered that the hot tubs were tested and found positive for legionnaires. Alabama State health dept involved. Hot tubs contaminated with legionella.

The Turquoise place is a beautiful facility in Gulf Shores! We have stayed here many times and absolutely love the location, being on the ocean, and what the facility offers! An indoor pool and workout area, and lazy river are what we keep coming back for! Very friendly staff and the condos are just beautiful!

I was very disappointed. The unit was dirty, carpet stained, and tv in the unit was starred and broken. All hot tubs out of service. One main pool out of service. The indoor pools were dirty.

I've stayed at turquoise place in the past and loved it, however this time was a bust. 6 weeks before our stay (during spring break 2023 mind you) we get a notice saying the C tower pool will be closed with an unknown date for reopen due to construction. It also stated that all of the hot tubs were going to be closed due to a POSSIBLE bacterial exposure and they were working hard on having them fixed. I'm thinking, 6 weeks for a possible bacterial exposure is plenty of time to drain, sanitize and refill them.....WRONG!!!! We were told upon check in they were still closed but someone would come up once a day and test them. NEVER happened, not one time. Water pressure for the showers were terrible. It would just stop running about every 2 minutes during your shower for at least 20-30 seconds at a time. The front desk said they would report it and see if they could get it fixed. It was never fixed and from talking to others staying in both towers, it was happening to everyone. Final icing on the cake was with the free breakfast, We had 16 people staying in a 5 bedroom condo. We decided that due to limited seating over at the breakfast area, we would bring back food in the TO GO containers provided by the resort. We bought bacon and sausage and fried it in our rooms to go with the eggs, waffles and juice that were "free" to us. The third day we were told we couldn't do that anymore because it was causing them to have to make too much food at one time ?! Doesn't matter if we took it back or came down there to eat, we would be eating approximately the same amount. I also hate that only 2 parking passes come with a 5 bedroom unit. How in the world will 16 people fit in vehicles?? Makes no sense. Had to pay an e tea $30 per night for the third vehicle.. Needless to say, we won't be back!!

Avoid Unit 1808d at all costs! It smelled terrible when we arrived. Several of the tvs were not working. There’s mold in the bathroom. The furniture was beat up and dirty. the rental company ( white Sands Realty)would neither switch us to a different condo or give any kind of refund. They did send a company in to clean the living room furniture and carpet. Note the black water in the bucket from that cleaning!

We had previously stayed at Turquoise Place and greatly enjoyed it. It is a beautiful facility, very clean with spacious units and numerous amenities. The unit in which we stayed on this visit was tastefully decorated, bright and beachy. The kitchen had anything you could possibly need. However, when we arrived, we found that the personal hot tub on our balcony (and in ALL the units) were closed due to concerns about contamination with the bacteria that causes Legionnaires disease. We were never informed of this prior to entering our unit - not when we made our reservation, not when we checked in personally at the front desk. The ban had been in effect since December, 2 months prior. I was very disappointed that we were not informed as one of the selling points for my family was the personal balcony hot tub. I would have made my reservation elsewhere had I known the situation. Incidentally, all the common area hot tubs and the steam room were closed as well. I cannot say I will not ever return but I will be careful to inquire about what facilities are open and available if I go back.

The housekeeping was magnificent, our condo was cleaned immaculately and the food and bar were amazing! The outside glass against the sunset and ocean is such an amazing sight. I could live here forever!! Highly recommend!!! Everything was splendid!!!

The hot tubes (personal and by the pool) are closed until the end of January 2023 at the earliest. The pool is also closed and they have no idea when it will be open back up. The gym equipment is rusty. Our shower handle fell off and it was already tightened once while we were here. The rooms are great but the amenities are lacking. If you want all bells and whistles, look elsewhere. The price is too high to be lacking in amenities.

We were willing to pay a premium to stay here because of the amenities offered. However, none of the amenities are available. We should have been informed of the lack of amenities.
Though most of the amenities were closed for the season, we still had a wonderful time. We felt we had the whole place to ourselves, even the beach! The view was beautiful. The hot tube was fantastic. The location was prefect and close everything.

This is our third stay. Our first we had issues with our toilet, someone had started working on the jacuzzi and just left it half done and the ceiling fans kept kicking off. But the beds, the kitchen area and the patio was worth any issues we had. The second we paid a bit more to get the wristbands. The staff was not much to be desired but the room was wonderful. This trip we have one of the best decorated rooms o have ever seen. Beds are wonderful. But no hair dryer and no promised dryer was delivered. After such a lovely interior we found a very cheap patio set outside, the cushions were thin and made for tables, not for couches, and no where to eat with the view. The cable went out and we called in at 9:30 and when we called again at 5 we found our name wasn’t on the list to fix. I know I sound picky and Karen but for the money spent the staff should be attentive and prompt and the owners should make sure that the accommodations are if not luxury, at least comfortable inside and out. I do not think we will pay this price again. We can find somewhere with lower status appliances and less fancy wall decor because we are here for the beach and our family

Turquoise Place: Our experience at Turquoise Place was phenomenal! The accommodations were gorgeous, the beach pristine, the staff always with a smile. I loved how our beach chairs were always waiting for us, whether we wanted to start at sunrise or make the beach an afternoon activity. The kids were so happy to jump from the indoor pool, to the outdoor pool, to the lazy river. The kids also looked forward to the special little activities throughout the day. The adults loved the afternoon music poolside. The location was perfect for running out to dinner or picking up groceries. We created memories there that will last for a lifetime. It was so special to see how multigenerational the families who stayed at Turquoise were- just like us, and this is clearly because the resort has something for everyone. We are already planning our next trip, and have recruited many others to join us!
