Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

We visit this location every Jan (snow birds). Have always been impressed with the service. Until last night. Pulled in around 6:30 pm and ordered ice cream to go. Asked for lids and a sack. When ice cream arrived, there were no lids or a sack. I reminded the young lady at the window that we needed lids and a sack. She was not happy and shoved the change from my purchase with enough force, that the change flew out of her hand on to the ground. I told her I was not worried about the change, and that I was disappointed with the service. She slammed the sliding window shut.

We will not be back.

They took way too long!! i ordered one thing people that came after me got their food first. Horrible place

Service was terrible, the female employee was disinterested in helping anyone and certainly had no sense of urgency. Our ice cream sat on the counter for several minutes melting and the cups were barely 3/4 full when we got them nearly 20 minutes later. Overall very disappointing experience.

We stay at the Hampton Inn across the street when we are on vacation. The food is always good and the staff is very friendly. The ice cream is always amazing. I live about an hour away from the nearest Dairy Queen in Oklahoma so it is always a treat. We frequentl this restaurant numerous times while we are on vacation. Definitely will return and would recommend.

My burger had brown and spoiled lettuce all over it. Slimy. I showed it to them and they acted mad like it was my fault. All I asked for was more lettuce and the lady in the back snapped out NO I need her entire burger. She said this is the only lettuce we have!! They continued to serve the customers. She stormed up there didn’t even look at me and punched in my refund. I was going to dine in and I would have taken a photo but she threw it in the trash before I had the chance. It was disgusting and we are locals. Won’t ever be coming back here! Walked over to Moe’s. Here is my receipt

This place has always need a nice place to stop by when down in Orange Beach. You really can't go wrong with a blizzard on a sunny hot day.

Didn't get all of my Uber Eats order

Ordered a couple of large Oreo blizzards at the drive thru for my husband and I with Heath Bar and Butterfinger added in. As we were pulling away, I took the spoon and stirred the blizzard around and saw there was barely anything at all mixed into it, and it was mostly just ice cream. Since we paid $21 for this, I parked the car, brought the blizzards back in and politely asked them to redo them, which they did.
That's when I opened Google reviews on this place and noticed the very low star rating for this location and realized that the two compliment one another.

Waiting in the drive through, they took the two cars in front of us. We sat there for a few minutes, the staff ingnored us saying “hey “ a few times , so we drove off

Lazy and ignorant staff.
The lady with all the makeup on took my order. Asked us to pull around to wait. Took two more people's orders. She finished cooking all three orders before bring out the food to all 3 customers. Made us wait additional time for our order, because she was too lazy to get some steps in.. Terrible customer service and ignorance about anyone else in this world but herself.

I understand that they were closing at 10, but locking us in the store to slow down traffic over 30 minutes before closing gave less “ice cream by the beach” and more “horror movie right before something bad happens.” Maybe they were doing the best that they could with what they had, but the road to hell is paved with good intentions, and that road led to the Orange Beach Dairy Queen.
