My sister was visiting the coast one year and went by Deep South's location in Orange Beach. She purchased several cakes including their caramel cake. OMG! YUM! Unforgettable! These are not just any cupcakes. They are a magical ride in the way back machine to how our grandmothers and great grandmothers baked. Quality ingredients, combined the way the owner’s cherished family recipes direct, no corners cut. A beautiful nod to family history. The result is a rich, moist, flavor packed treat that you won’t waste a crumb of. You can even mix and match to take home your own personal favorites. We leave to go home tomorrow. I hope they ship?!

Honestly disappointed, we have been buying cakes from them for the past three years and they have done amazing. We asked for a beach themed birthday cake and it is nothing even close to it. We come down every year I would rather get a cake from Publix, than pay $60 for nothing.

I ordered a birthday cake and wanted an unusual white fluff icing. They were more than helpful on making suggestions of what they offered to best meet those needs. Wow! It was so delicious. It really made my husband’s birthday special as it reminded him of his favorite cake when he was young.

My husband and I picked up cake slices at the Orange Beach location as our “wedding cake” after getting married. Every slice was delicious, and I would recommend this spot to anyone in area. Some of the best cake I’ve ever had!
