Jennifer was our waitress today and she was amazing.

We loved our lunch here! 10/10 Chat GPT recommended and it did not disappoint! Rachel, our server was amazing, kind, efficient & patient with our group. Our table loved the fried shrimp, gumbo, grilled shrimp, grilled mahi mahi, the chicken with the pineapple and most importantly the freaking amazing hush puppies!!! Thank you so much for a lovely lunch

It is an old place and much like a crowded diner. Hard to drive in and out. The menu was a little cluttered looking. I got a recommendation from the server for just myself since there were so many options for platters in the $40 range. The gumbo was good but the shrimp in it were small tough and recooked. The shrimp basket of fried shrimp, hush puppies and fries were great. The pink lemonade was average. Plenty of servers around. With a $5 tip it was $37 on a Sunday at 2:30 pm.

Great shrimp. Great service. I swear the young lady that waited on us has a sister working at channel 5 WKRG.
On another note, as everything else, things are getting expensive.

Legit the best fried shrimp I have ever had. Really loud but there was a huge group in the private room and that happens. Great food and service.

Classic location, but the parking lot is awkward and the intersection prohibits you from coming in a normal way.

The crab was great but everything seems to be fried so be careful there. Overall I’d recommend if you’re in Orange Beach.
