Not a good day for eating at Doc's. They currently have very small clams, which we were told in advance,but Pink Pony's were huge yesterday. Got Seafood platter....shrimp was good.

Very busy and only waited 10 to 15 minutes to be seated. Server Mikayla, was joyful and pleasant. Ordered Bowl of gumbo, was great follwed by the shrimp plate, wife had the grilled fish sandwich. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Wow! What a find, we came across Docs after making a wrong turn. This place just has that look of having delicious seafood. Boy, does it ever. Not being a chain and having a older seaside look its the perfect place to have great seafood.The grill shrimp,fish and crabcakes are scrumptious. The sweet tea is 2nd to none. Service was outstanding. Please give them a try. You will not be disappointed!

This is the best place for seafood in the area. The price is affordable and the food is well seasoned and delicious. Great atmosphere with amazing customer service. I highly recommend visiting this location.I like that each table is large and has all the sauces , condiments and 3 rolls of napkins. They also get bonus points for having fans outside just in case you want to sit in the bench.Plenty parking available as well.You have to visit this location for seafood if you are in the area. The gumbo was also amazing and the famous bush Wacker drink

Doc's Seafood Shack seems to be the locals' favorite for seafood. The fried shrimp, which came highly recommended, did not disappoint. Great batter and seasoned well. The seafood and sausage gumbo was spicy, full of flavor, and served with just a scoop of rice, which was perfect for me. Service was friendly, quick, and professional. Ample parking even though pretty busy. Would love to have tried the Alabama Crab Cakes and the Bushwacker drink, but just too full. Maybe next time.

Best gumbo, seafood & fish of all the restaurants we tried in Gulf Shores & Orange Beach. We had to go back again before vacation ends and already looking forward to returning in July.Parking: They had plenty of room both times we went in 2 weeks.
