Duck's Diner Orange Beach

I’ve been going to this place for over 10 years and initially, the food was great! But over the past couple years and certainly since opening their location in Gulf Shores, the food quality has become very bad. I ordered a pick up meal several months ago and when I arrived home and opened the box, I knew that the food was not eatable. I just brushed it off as a one time bad experience. However, I ordered a pick order months later and got the same poor food. I will not go back here until something changes. Burt Okra, burned gravy and dry ham.

Great little tucked away diner in orange beach near a well manicured golf course. We had breakfast and it came out fast and delicious. I had some rolled French toast dish that was legit 5 out of 5

The berry biscuits is amazing! French toast battered biscuits covered in fresh strawberries and blueberries covered in a butter pecan sauce.

Best breakfast I have had in a while! The ham is awesome! Friendly and clean! We ate here the last 2 mornings. Thought the prices were decent. Food was hot and served quickly.

Really nice place to stop for breakfast I had a BLT on sourdough and it really hit the spot. My husband had the banana stuffed French toast pictured below. Gives a mom and pop kind of feel.

Duck’s Diner is our new favorite breakfast spot in Orange Beach. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Add in a kind and informative sever and it made for a great breakfast. This will be a regular spot when we are in Orange Beach.

Had high reviews, so thought would try during vacation. It was just ok. Scrambled eggs a bit over done. No real butter only margarine blend. Wouldn’t do again given many other options around Orange Beach.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast and ordered the western omelet with hashbrown casserole and a biscuit. It was all delicious! The server quickly took the order and get glasses full. They had helpers who brought out the food quickly. It was a lovely place with a nice energetic vibe. Will enjoy coming back again!

They said the wait would be 20 minutes, "if that, but probably less" it was 40. Then they sat us at the bar, with no waitress and someone else felt sorry for us and got us drinks. Then when she did come she got my very simple order wrong. Next time I will go to Waffle House. The whole staff was unwelcoming and off putting. Seemed like they didn't care how the customers felt. They were hustling going through the motions almost in survival mode. It wasn't even that busy inside. The hostess who sat us at the bar just came by and bumped into me like I wasn't supposed to be sitting where she put me. Overall the vibes were just off. Maybe it can be better, but I won't be back to find out.

We had late breakfast here and it was nice. There was a waiting list to get in with people waiting outside. It wasn't too long of a wait (10-15 mins) though. Lots of people in a small area and service people very busy. They got the job done though. If you want spacious atmosphere, maybe not here, but decent food and friendly people, this is your place. We liked our meal and will return again.
