Delicious fish tacos, and terrific oyster poboy as well. The "Seared Yellowfin Tuna Cubes" were not remotely seared, and quite dreadful, badly overcooked and tasteless. They WERE out of gumbo, an odd thing if it were made there.
Service was great and food was good. While there was no catch that day all of the fish dishes were hits. Great appetizers for group sharing. Beach shrimp was a hit, size of appetizer was quite large. Fried cheese curds had some bite but were a table fav. Salad was excellent, steak was ok, pasta dishes also hit the mark.
The drinks were great, and the small staff was trying their best. But, it was a very frustrating experience. Steak was grossly undercooked, and it was served again 20 minutes later with no sides or toppings ordered on the steak.
Horrible service. Food was cold. Waited an hour and a half for food. Only two people who are the bartender, cook, hostess, and wait staff.
We enjoyed the music and drinks. Bathrooms are clean, bartender helpful, sit outside and enjoy some fantastic music from local performers.
First time visiting, nice atmosphere, and our services were great. Appetizers we had loaded Fries with shrimp, outstanding. I had the fish tacos the flavor was amazing. I ate a lot of fish tacos in my lifetime but this was top-notch. As a side, I had Brussels sprouts, not your normal Brussels sprouts taste was fantastic. My husband ate chicken Alfredo seasoned perfectly. The cocktails that we had could be larger for the amount that you pay.
Went for dinner tonight…semi locals….prices were terribly high…redfish 31.00. Shrimp Poboy was 17.00…Tuna bites were overdone and gumbo was lukewarm with definitive flour base that was thick and grainy. We will not be back.
Friendly/quality service with good food! Cocktails are second to none in Orange beach. The bartenders are creative, and truly professionals that are second to none. I was thoroughly impressed. I have eaten the Beachin Shrimp, and several of the entrees(all of which were good). Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area and hungry, or just want to sit on the patio and have a refreshing craft cocktail!
My entrée was delicious. The bartender Lielah also took our dinner order. I got a drink from the bar. Superb! She recommended a few dishes for us to try that evening and they did not disappoint The view was so nice , the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend
Atmosphere, A Appetizer, A Shrimp, D Salad, A Food was average at best. Shrimp had strange aftertaste, breading was good, Boudin balls+, Typical marina restaurant with friendly wait staff.

We had several appetizers and drinks. Loved the BBQ shrimp, beachin shrimp and boudin balls. Great bourbon selection.
Stopped in Sunday nite after a few pops at the Flora-Bama lounge, Sammie met us at the front door and escorted us to a water front marina table where Avery took charge. We got along great from the start, had two great drink selections and started with a cup (more like a bowl) of the gumbo...the gumbo is fantastic and in the bigger bowl is a meal in itself...we both had the tacos, I had the grilled fish, and wife had the shrimp...they were fresh, tasty, and cooked to perfection. We left stuffed and blown away by the quality of the service and value (only $54.00) of FOTBoat. Unfortunately, we went back our last night in town, had different waiter (Shaun), the gumbo was not avail due to kitchen issues, and had a very subpar meal/exper for twice the price and half the dining pleasure.
After reading a few good reviews, my husband and I decided to come for lunch. The prices are high, all of the food was very bland and required a lot of sauce to have any flavor. The boudin balls had no taste except for the mustard and ranch sauces. The fried shrimp appetizer (I had for my entree) had no flavor other than salt. My husband got the blackened fish tacos and they had no flavor. The water had a horrible flavor too. The waitress was sweet, but never came back to check on us after we got our food. One of the worst meals we have had in this area since we moved here.
Our hostest was pleasant and our waiter time was not as long as expected but our waiter was very neglectful and spoke extremely soft. We were not tended to for a while after being seated, we were never checked on for refills or anything from the time we recieved our food to the time we asked for our ticket. Couldn't tell if our waiter was purposely being rude or if he truly struggled to speak up to us the entire time. The table behind us seemed to get to communicate with him well. The food was mediocre at best and definitely not worth the cost. This atmosphere is quite judgmental.
6th year in the area but first and most likely last time here. When we were able to walk in at 6pm and there were tons of tables available I should have had reconsidered eating here. I ordered the shrimp and grits. I've ordered that many times in many different cities and states, but never encountered something like this. It wasn't terrible, but it definitely was not what I had in mind when I ordered it. It was $26 I think and was average at best. My wife's fish tacos was average and my sons grilled fish didn't have much flavor. Our waiter was nice and did a good job, but other than that there was nothing that would make me want to try it again. Way over priced for sub-par food.
