Island Time Daiquiris & Pizza at The Wharf in Orange Beach, AL, offers a mix of experiences that makes it hard to fully recommend. The daiquiris and pizza are solid, and the atmosphere has the potential to be a great spot for relaxing and unwinding. However, the experience can vary drastically depending on who is working behind the bar.
The female bartenders are fantastic—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure you have a good time. They create an inviting environment that makes you want to stay and enjoy the vibrant setting. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said when a particular male bartender is on shift. This individual has a habit of closing out tabs after your first drink while keeping others open, creating an uncomfortably exclusive and unfair atmosphere. It’s a stark contrast to the otherwise friendly vibe, and it detracts from what could be a much more enjoyable experience.
While the food and drinks are good, consistency in customer service is key, and this inconsistency leaves a sour taste. With more attention to inclusivity and fairness, Island Time could easily be a five-star destination. For now, it earns three stars—worth a visit if you’re lucky enough to catch the right staff behind the bar.

Went for a drink before the movie today! April is a badass and made us feel very welcome and like old friends. My girlfriend Kim and I will always go back to pass some time...anytime

I walked in to purchase a beverage & food, the bartender at 1:45 pm 7/28/24 was extremely rude with an air of indifference towards me and my friend. We stood at the bar to inquire of the cost of the beverages because it wasn't on the menu sitting on the counter. Bartender did not even bother to say anything in response, and just pointed with disdain at the cup size examples. When I said maybe I should eat before getting a strong drink because I just wanted to leave since his attitude towards us was so nasty, he rolled his eyes when I said that. I decided to spend my money elsewhere because my patronage was not respected nor appreciated there by that bartender.

Just went in, sat for 10 minutes, wasn’t acknowledged, got up and left. Sad.

I’ve been there many times. Went there for new years. I took cash but at one point my wife ordered a couple drinks using a debit card. Showed up on account as $26. When it finally cleared the bank the charge total was $100. Apparently someone felt they deserved a $73 tip. Not cool.

Grabbed two daiquiris and headed to my nieces graduation at the Wharf. Drinks are ok but needed a little more alcohol in them for the price. Still, tasted really

My sister and I both ordered the margarita daiquiri and agreed it wasn’t good and it was weak. Additionally we both got sick after drinking it!

We came from indiana on vacation. The men wanted to watch the game ofc so I came across this place. The atmosphere, the live music, the food (you have to try the chicken wings) was all amazing. Bobby the owner made our night we stayed there for HOURS enjoying our time & the music. One of my favorite memories of the trip!

Small little beer and daiquiri bar. They have a nice selection of drinks between daiquris and beers. What I liked about the place was it had quick service (I did not have to wait to be served), the bar tender was very polite and helpful. You have many different sized drink options and you can add an extra shot for $4. Prices were reasonable (a lot ofnplaces are much more expensive).I bought a 16 oz. Hurricane daiquiri, that tastes pretty damned good. After tip I spent $10. Overall satisfied with my quick trip to the daiquiri bar. Will definitely come back. It looks like they do have live music as there is a small stage in the corner of the bar.
