Rarely do I give a straight five star review, but Luna’s consistently delivers. It’s not fine dining, and it’s not bar food. We're went for a bourbon pairing. Great event with Heaven Hill bourbon and Elijah Craig pairings. Food was good and presented well. Will return for another meal.

I recently had lunch at this charming spot, and it was a true gem! The restaurant is set in a beautifully restored house with cozy, Southern charm and gorgeous grounds that make you feel right at home. The menu is all about down home Southern comfort food—think A meat-and-3 lunch plates, Nashville hot chicken, and the best shrimp and grits you’ve ever tasted. I stopped in for a light lunch and settled on a cup of gumbo and the deviled eggs appetizer. Wow, the gumbo hits you at the first spoonful. This is good stuff but a light roux. I loved that the deviled eggs came with a scoop of pimiento cheese topped with some fresh pork rinds and bread and butter pickles. Everything was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The service was warm and friendly, and the laid-back, inviting atmosphere made for a perfect, relaxed meal. Do not, whatever you do, skip the fried pecan pie dessert. I don’t normally eat dessert but I was in one of those moods and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself lately. The fried pie came with a generous scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and a drizzle of Bourbon molasses that we could all eat by the spoonful if allowed. If you're looking for authentic Southern food in a peaceful, scenic setting, this place is a must-visit!

Dietary restrictions: If you're doing non-strict keto, try the deviled eggs appetizer. If you're vegetarian and okay with butter and cream, there are LOTS of options. I would definitely try the tomato pie and garden salad for lunch. For a heartier meal, I would go directly to the sides and choose the smoked cheddar grits and fried brussels sprouts or pair the whipped sweet potatos, fried okra, and house salad.

Looking for a place we could dine outside, this place came up! Several menu options available, but we opted for the 1 lb shrimp steamer. It was amazing! We’ve eaten a lot of steamed shrimp dinners, but this one was seasoned to perfection! My 17 year old son and I shared the 1 lb meal and it was ample. We added a side of fries and they were crispy and and delicious. My husband ordered the fried shrimp dinner and it was very tasty, as well. Additionally, the service was wonderful. Our waitress was so kind and efficient!

Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available and kid friendly atmosphere.
