Mile Marker 158 is a hidden gem! The food is amazing. The bread that was brought out before our meal was wonderful. It was nice and warm and the strawberry butter, oh my! My husband and I enjoyed the fish of the day, grouper, with gouda smashed potatoes, green beans topped with lemon beurre blanc. My fish was grilled and my husband's was blackened. The fish was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The green beans were crisp and delicious. We shared a slice of key lime pie that was nice and tart, and had just the right amount of sweetness. You don't want to miss this place. Melissa took excellent care of us.

Service and atmosphere was excellent. It is located near the Wharf, so, it is on the Intercoastal waterway.

They have a GREAT happy hour! The server was superrr nice but I think he was new so he didn't know a ton of info but the deals were fantastic. The oysters were $1, the shrimp scampi pasta was only $12 and so good. The view was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely come back if in town!

This was the best meal we had while staying in Orange Beach. The seafood pasta was insane! Amazing key lime pie and great cocktails. We also had the calamari and Grouper and both were top notch! Our server Charlie was amazing as well!

The patio seating is really nice to be by the water. The truffle beef tips are amazing but the mahi was basically jerky. Cooler to oblivion and not edible. You will enjoy the place just skip the mahi.

Recently took a girls trip, we had dinner at Mile Marker after a dolphin cruise. We literally walked off the boat to the restaurant. We were seated right away. Service was great ( sorry, I don’t remember the waitress’s name) She had a lot of great suggestions. We had the truffled chips with an onion dip and beef tenderloin bites for an appetizer, both were wonderful. I had the Teriyaki Glazed Salmon for my main. Would highly recommend! It was cooked perfectly. Drinks were just ok.

We were able to sit outside facing the boats and water. All three of us had a drink, Cosmo, Sunset Martini, and a glass of wine. My sister in law and I had the Mahi which was delicious with the risotto. My husband had the surf and turf which was filet mingon and a crab cake. We all really enjoyed our food. We split the Key Lime Pie for dessert.

Our waitress was fantastic and checked on us numerous times. I could not take any more fried seafood which seemed to be mostly on every restaurants menu. We all couldn't have been happier with our choice.

I can honestly say this was the best grouper I’ve had anywhere between Pensacola and Gulf Shores. The prices were very reasonable, the food was perfectly prepared, and every bite was delicious.

We started with raw oysters, which were impressively large and fresh. My partner enjoyed the teriyaki salmon, and I ordered the fish of the day—grouper—which was cooked to perfection.

I’ve visited Foodcraft at The Lodge several times this week and found it inconsistent, and while Peg Leg Pete’s and other local spots have their charm, this restaurant truly stood out above the rest. The flavors were balanced, the portions generous, and the quality outstanding.

In short: fresh seafood, consistent quality, and excellent value. Without a doubt, this has become my top choice along the Gulf Coast.
