Visited mid-week for an early dinner, so there was no wait. Nice atmosphere with marina views from a table near the window. They also have outdoor seating. Server was friendly. Food was very good. Had shrimp and grits, which was different from the cream-sauce variety I have most often, but was very good. I would liken it to a cross between shrimp/grits and gumbo - more of a roux sauce with sausage. Others in the group had stuffed shrimp that they really enjoyed. We will visit again.
My husband and I came here during our vacation, and we were underwhelmed by the food. We thought great seafood would be easy to find being on the gulf. We ordered raw oysters, the special which was red snapper, and the gulf shrimp boil. Nothing was great except our service from our waitress, Jade!

When we walked in, only 4 others in restaurant. Waited for quite awhile before anyone came to seat us. Beautiful restaurant for hardly anyone there. We only saw 3 employees! What a shame for such a beautiful establishment. My wife ordered the Kickin’ Shrimp which arrived very hot. Very tasty fish. I ordered the All you can eat grouper fingers. They arrived very hot also. Was in more of a beer batter rather than a light and crispy batter.
We will not be back!

Quality of the food was fair at best. Shrimp were small and the portions overall were small.
Our server was good and food came out pretty quick.
Loud and kind of bland interior.
For the price, simply cmf recommend

We went there on an off season Sunday night with no crowd. We were seared quickly. Our service was good. We primarily ordered fish/ seafood items - all were prepared well and tasted very good. The atmosphere is simple, clean, and austere. It has not been changed since the prior restaurant which occupied the space. Their strategy is to offer quality food dishes similar to upscale restaurants in a casual atmosphere. It’s definitely worth trying.
Nice experience at pelicans. We went because we saw the plane advertising all you can eat crab legs. My daughter ordered shrimp scampi, and my wife ordered thiel and a shrimp. I had them all you can eat crab legs. Everything was good in the service was great. The crab legs were not the best. The crab legs appeared to be overcooked and highly seasoned. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience.

Wonderful hidden gem. All food was homemade. From the kid’s chicken tenders to our crab stuffed jalapeño peppers. The grouper was tender and flavorful. Mahi was divine. Great cocktails and craft beer. The owner stopped by to welcome us and gave our grands fish food so they could feed the fish from the dock outside. Our server and food runner were very friendly.
We went for a late lunch and had wonderful experience. The service was excellent. The food was amazing. The view was enjoyable.

Christy was our server and she was absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere was top tier, the food was even better! Crab legs were seasoned to perfection and the easiest to break (if you know the struggle, then you know how important this is!)
Christy was attentive, charming and very personable. Even offered to take our pictures (which turned out fabulous)
Will definitely come back to visit when we’re back!

Pelican Grill is a marina-side favorite with amazing burgers and breezy outdoor seating—perfect for grabbing to-go food before your Tiki boat cruise. The owners are warm, welcoming, and truly care about the experience. Clean, casual, and full of Gulf Coast charm, it’s a must-stop every time.

Waited an hour no service walked out
Food is really good. One of the better places in the area and the price point is much better than some other places. More casual.
