First time eating here. We started off with the stuffed mushrooms and oh my were they scrumptious. We had the blackened triggerfish and it was delicious and cooked just right. Everything was delicious and service was fantastic. We will definitely be back

This is my new Happy Place!! Being gluten- free has been very difficult. When a friend told me about this place, I could not wait to try it out. She told me about a month ago and I have been three times already. I had not had any fried foods since October. I have gotten fried shrimp, fried crawfish tails, and fried okra and my friend got the trigger fish, Gouda grits and fries. Every single thing has been absolutely AMAZING!! I have spoken with the owner each time I was there. Her and her daughter are so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. if you have not tried Pier House, do yourself a favor and try it!! 10/10 😋

I ate lunch at the Pier House Spanish Fort with a group of eight friends this past Sunday. Everyone in my group talked about how good the food tasted. I had the fried grouper fingers with bourbon glaze. The grouper was cooked to perfection and the glaze was a master’s touch.

Great atmosphere and good! Highly recommended.

Where do I begin to tell you how amazing our first dining experience at Pier House Spanish Fort was last night! The food was amazing! Every single thing we ate! I had fried shrimp for the first time in years because their batter is gluten free. ALL of their desserts are gluten free and the caramel cake, y'all...just get it. Trust me! My husband ordered the blackened mahi sandwich and he said it was great too. All of this is true, but it's the staff who made us feel like we were at a friend's house eating dinner. Southern, gulf coast hospitality at its finest! Our server, Emily, was fantastic and the manager, Juan, and the owner, Carrie, were so warm and welcoming and a whole lot of fun! We arrived as guests, left as friends, and can't wait to go back!

We loved this restaurant. The food was excellent. As a family who has food allergies, it was nice to have all the food allergies listed on the menu. It was laid out very nice and all the food was 5 stars! The service was the best too. Our waiter was very attentive. We will be back for sure!

Great redfish entree. Crab soup is excellent. Wait staff very friendly. Dining is casual (no tablecloths) but very clean.

Amazing!! Had the best gluten free fried shrimp with crab bisque and flourless chocolate torte for dessert. Great service too! Can’t recommend enough. New owners as of April 2024. Open Christians playing contemporary Christian music. There were very few people there, please support this business!

An unfortunate evening to dine with Pier House because of missing or no show staff. We only noticed two individuals working both the dining and bar areas. Despite the disappointment of no show employees, we managed to enjoy our meal. The servicing individuals did an amazing job in taking care of the evening crowd. We will be back again, but will likely call before hand to confirm adequate staff.

What an amazing place in Orange Beach! I had just visited for the first time this past weekend, and I chose this restaurant in particular for it's gluten free options. I am a celiac and I have to treat gluten like a severe allergy, and let me tell you... this place made me feel normal again! Not only is most of their menu gluten free, but almost all of it can be made gluten free, and they are very good about how they prepare it. They had so many options, I kid you not, I basically ordered them all HAHA. I just had to try the dishes I never get to eat, but it made for great leftovers too.

I cannot recommend this place enough, especially if you're looking for gluten free options that are safe to eat.

The dishes I tried are the calamari, stuffed mushrooms, fried shrimp, burger, and steak, and they were all great. Best time eating out. They are a Christian family and restaurant as well, which made the atmosphere that much better.

I will also commend their amazing staff. My wife and I were treated very well while we were there, and the waitresses were kind and made sure our dinner went well with lots of refills, and brought out our food quickly. I sadly won't be back in Orange Beach until next year, but you can bet Pier House will be at the top of my to-do list!

The restaurant is beautiful and clean. Food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Craig was very attentive and took great care to ensure our evening of dining was perfect. Will definitely be back!
