Red Or White at The Wharf

Where do I start. We sat for over 10 minutes waiting to even be acknowledged. The staff served 2 tables that arrived after us while still just walking past us. We were the only people of color there. We had heard of this place from TikTok and was excited to sample the house made pizza and wine pairing. We were highly disappointed by the lack of interest in serving us. We left completely unattended and disappointed. I would say if you are of color avoid this place.

Great selection of unique bottles at very reasonable prices. Food was great for a light snack or appetizer before dinner. Can easily make a full meal out of it. Only wish is that they could allow real glasses outside but table by the window helped. Buy a good bottle or two, pay a small service fee, and enjoy the slow lane.

The dark haired bartender was absolutely NO help for wine selections or charcuterie board. I asked about something on the menu and she said “What I was paying attention to you. The woman with the bigger light hair, was talking to a couple a few chairs down swearing the whole time. Customer service for these two was nonexistent. Wish we didn’t waste our time or money.

Perfect atmosphere, food rates much above any expected bar eats. Friendly people in a relaxed grownup setting. Check it out!

Wife and I stopped while at The Wharf to had a drink. Hostess was wonderful in helping choose a drink of wine. Decided to get the Antipasta Charcuterie Board and it was delightful! Love the atmosphere here, and prices are on par for what I expected ($8 for a glass, $22 for the board).

Every single time we come to the beach I love stopped at this place because I really like the wine selection, but the customer service is absolutely terrible. Is my last time in this place . I don’t feel welcoming at all. I’m not asking for free wine ladies!!!

Loved this place. Food good. Great selection of wines. Great place to have a couple glasses of wine and tasty appys.

My husband and I were looking for a new wine to try, and we were treated as nothing but an inconvenience. My husband tried to ask about a certain wine-and was cut off by one of the employees with a rude response. Didn’t bother drinking anything there. Got out as quickly as possible due to the nasty attitudes the two workers had.

Absolutely love this place! All the employees we have come into contact with were wonderful, especially Lisa. The Mediterranean pizza and ravioli were amazing! We were able to watch the baseball championship game in a cozy setting that wasn't overly noisy. Would absolutely recommend

I use to really love this place. Food and wine always amazing. SERVICE IS HORRIBLE I only left one star because I had to. Bartender with brown hair is extremely rude. Had a party of 8 come in all locals couldn’t split checks because they were “busy” only 6 other people in the place wouldn’t sit us all together because “we are a bunch of women and she can’t have us all in each others faces” her tone and attitude drove all of us off. So instead of us spending a total of around $300-400 in this establishment we walked out and went to Villagio where they were more than happy to seat all of us together and split our checks

After leaving yesterday and spending over $200 I finally decided to post my feelings about the management.We enjoy our time and red and white but as many times as we have been there and as much money as we have spent, we never even get a hello or smile out of the manager. Not a thank you not a come back and say yes, not a good to see you again. Yesterday she was sitting behind her desk doing paperwork and never once got up to greet us, even when we engaged in conversation, she was absolutely terrible at diplomacy.We decided there are too many great places in Orange Beach, where you feel welcome each and every time, so yesterday was our last visit.

We go often. Tonight we were treated at though we were an inconvenience to the employees by having a larger group for a friends birthday. Will not be back anytime soon.

Had a group of 8 and had a great experience. Great wine, great food and fantastic service!!
