Food was poorly prepared. Never had an issue with the breakfast but lunch was awful. BBQ sandwich was drowned in bbq sauce and the sandwich I had was soaked in horseradish mayo. Onion were definitely not sautéed and the meat was cold. So ended up feeding the meat to my dog.

Employees harassed us about our mask not being over our nose when others weren’t even wearing a mask, checking out at that?!. very disappointed and felt unwelcome. This happened about 30 min ago. J&M is the way to go

Sam’s is amazing! The staff from the cashiers, cooks, managers all the up to the owners are amazing! Best place to go for all your fishing needs! They have both quantity and quality! If you are a beginner or a seasoned fisherman they can help you. They fix rods and reels! They even put the line on your reel! They just don’t have sportswear either! They have groceries and even a deli in the back to cook you up something for breakfast or lunch! If you are in Orange Beach stop by Sam’s! You will not be disappointed!

lifelong customer, bought several expensive reel setups from the young man in the back and always friendly and very informative, until I called to ask about getting one of those reels serviced and a general idea of cost. the older man whom I've never talked to before rudly said he didn't care to ask about the reel, didn't want the job and refered me to J&m tackle. called J&m they quickly gave me a price and got me in for service, called Sam's back to let him know that j&m took care of me and once again he doesn't care, let him know I would just use J&m from now on where I get good sales and service and he said Good. so if you want good customer service and sales don't go to Sam's!

I have fished all over the Gulf, Keys and Caribbean - was fortunate to "grow up" in some of the old legendary tackle shops. Sam's is certainly in this class - great equipment and more real local help and knowledge than you should ask for! Double thanks to Chris for his recent, reliable and repeated help over the years. You haven't fully experienced Coastal Alabama fishing if you haven't visited Sam's! Great breakfast too!

My go to place for my surf rods and reels. Mark won me over the first time I met him while spooling a couple reels with new braid and after that helping me pick out a few new rod and reels. Great place and great service! Mark and his shop gets a 6 star rating from me!
