Sandshaker at the wharf

Hey it's a bar. Usually there is a band after 9pm. Can get crowded after the band starts. There is a pool table. Seating is both inside and outside. Staff is very attentive. The last time we were there they had a taco bar set up, but I don't think they normally have food. Drinks are on the high side$$$$$ for the area but not for a resort venue.

My friend Shote, the heavyset bold security guard, his real ID and he said it was fake. Never coming back to this place again need to fire that guy because my friend did not know his ZIP Code and he has an updated his license from two years ago.

Fun atmosphere and strong drinks. Decent vibe. 3 because I was here for karaoke and the host was more focused on playing music and getting drunk than getting people up to sing. Get a better host for the crowd and let people sing. Need to tell whomever is hosting they’re there to entertain, not to get drunk. Lots of potential but a “meh” overall.

Went to sandshaker Monday night before Teddy Swims concert. A group of us met up there to have drinks before concert. 2 of us from the group had fraudulent charges taken out of our bank accounts besides our drink checks that we paid. What a disappointment because this is a great place to go for fun. I won't be returning except to get my money back.

I was at this establishment recently be aware they will try to put fraudulent charges on your card if they think you aren't paying attention I paid for 4 drinks had a 26.00 pending now I have a 290.00 that went through and 206.00 pending ...I've contacted the police dept , better business bureau, prosecutors office and my atty....Atmosphere was great music was great but be high alert ⚠️ 📢 👌 they scam people from out of town and you may not know unless you monitor your statement.....Thumbs down to this establishment and management as it's likely a common practice if your a visitor....

Here on vacation and visited this location and the only reason we came back MULTIPLE nights is because of Marci! What an amazing bartender and people person! We legit felt like a local and enjoyed our time at this location! Marci is absolutely the best! Be sure to visit when she working!!!

The bartender on Saturday night September 21, 2024 was horrible. She was offended when we asked to put on the game. There’s a reason the place was empty. She was not nice at all.

Probably the absolute worst bushwacker I have ever had, tried to redeem my feelings with a mixed drink that was just also trash and not made right. The inside is nice though and had a good live band. But as far as the drinks highly disappointed.

visiting the area on vacation from st louis missouri!. we met Freddie and Hayden on a dolphin cruise and they recommended stopping by their bar afterwards. hands down the best place we could have gone that night. everyone was soooo nice and accommodating. special shoutout to Sean for letting us talk his ear off all night lol and for amazing service from everyone there!. i recommend the peanut butter bushwackers they were really good! the band was super fun and out on a great show! spent the night talking and dancing with some other people we met there and had a great time!
