“Hole in the wall” vibes but right in the middle of everything. Food was great, oysters were huge and fresh. Had 4 people total, including 2 kids.

This was the worst experience we have had in a long time! We will never go back! We had family from out of town & little kids. It was not very family oriented, service was devoted to the drinking crowd. We were there over 2.5 hrs, our food ticket wasn't put in until 30 min after we ordered. By the time we got our food it was 1.5 hrs after ordering, there was no ice in our glasses, we drank hot water & tea with it. We were compensated with a 75% discount but never even offered a refreshed drink by the time the food did come. We had a missing item & even an extra item of something we didnt order. The chips were moist.... the mens bathroom door was hanging off the hinges! When we asked what happened we were told the restaurant literally had 2 cooks in horse trailer! This restaurant has potential but will take some effort. We shouldn't have had to pay anything!

Came in for lunch around noon on a Saturday and we were the only customers... at first. Only the upstairs bar was open. We had Snake in the Grass cocktails to drink and shrimp basket & oyster basket for lunch. Everything was delicious! It's a perfect little bar spot with a pool table and fun vibe. Service was great too. By the time we left the place was filling up with locals. ⛱️ 🧜‍♀️🫶

It was great, and this is the 4 or 5th time I've eaten there, I really enjoyed the chicken tenders with chips a lot

First bad review I have ever written! They have a huge sign outside saying” steamed crabs “ well when we go to order steamed crabs it turns out the steamer is broken and it’s normally broken. Next the waiter who waited on us was in the back room taking shots of alcohol. We had a simple order of 3 poboys and a fish basket and they managed to get the order wrong twice. Not only is it a long wait, the waiters are unprofessional and the place in general is poorly managed and also expensive. Supposedly the place likely won’t be here next year and I’m not surprised.

Good evening all I’m not wanting to normally post things of this nature, but just wanted to warn people for both their safety and their families safety. This restaurant on a daily violate multiple health code violations. Seafood has been seen thawing in the sun on the back deck by staff and patrons. Also employee Bartender Skylar has been seen going in the bathroom numerous occasions using narcotics coming out with it on his face.

Terrible service times. Waited well over an hour for food, not given an ETA just that the “kitchen was backed up”. No A/C inside upstairs, drinks didn’t have ice in them, 1 star is to much in my opinion, do not recommend

ok i don’t even know how to start. it was DISGUSTING! to start off, oysters were piled up in the parking lot (not very unusual just saying.) wait time was 1 hour, that’s fine but the host put us on the list and ERASED our party while we were waiting.

knowing there was open seats downstairs, he put our party upstairs at the bar. keep in mind we had a toddler, and two kids. while walking up the stairs it STUNK. like full on REEKED. seafood smell is different, but it smelled like full on MOLD!

food wait was an hour and a half. THE STEAMER WAS BROKEN. so no fried or oily foods. no chicken tenders which is what many kids get. got the food at 8:40. sweet tea wasn’t even sweet. when the food arrived, we instantly noticed the kids cheese pizza is just cheese popped on the bread. bread was stale and cheese falling all off. fried shrimp wasn’t even cooked, make us sick to our stomach. potato chips were okay i guess. waitress was nice but didn’t get refills till before we left. bill was $80. what a waste

overall i do NOT recommend.

Incredible PoBoys. Can beer, except Coors Banquet. Shrimp are great choice and roast beef are best I've ever had. Lived in Gulf Shores for 10 years and visit here for food at least once a month. Winter time it's like Cheers Bar.
