Sometimes I should just know better, but I gave this place a try. Unfortunately for me the establishment was going to close a half hour before I arrived. So I ordered a full slab to go with sides. Once i returned to my hotel less than a mile away, I proceed to dine on my order. I am guessing the slab of ribs I received had been sitting under the warming lamp or a warm tray for a while. Not only were they over done, they were not even warm, more on the cool side. Like they were sitting out for some time. The side of BBQ sauce I received was warmer than the ribs. REALLY????? Does ANYBODY TRY THE FOOD BEFORE THEY SERVE IT ANYMORE??? If I owned this place I would be embarrassed by what they served me. Well it was a carry out meal, had I been served this in the restaurant, it would have went back IMMEDIATELY! A totally bad experience and the food was tough and cold. I have eaten and cooked more ribs than most of the population, so I really do know how they should be cooked and served. Brad’s evidently does not. SUCH A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! Think twice before you order anything to go from here.

While the food was good, I almost did not enter because of the NO FIREARMS allowed sign. I actually turned around and almost left but my wife suggested I give the food a try. I often conceal carry, for personal/family protection, and maybe the protection of others as well. Does any business owner really think that a criminal is going to read and obey the sign? A few concealed carry weapons, in today's environment, might be more of a help than a hinderance. I respect the owner's right to not allow me to carry my concealed handgun on their premises, and they would not have known, but any business that is so against my second amendment rights will not get my repeat business.

Some of the best BBQ I have ever had. They do it right at Brad's. You can tell they make everything in house all the way down to the baked beans. The collards are delicious. The sauced ribs are off the charts. I wish I would have found them sooner!
