We always stop here for breakfast when we're on our way to Mississippi. Great food, great staff, and I love the hazelnut coffee.

Went this morning as I had an hour to kill before the store opened the lady at the cash register was very sweet no complaints on her, the only one who was hostile was an older white lady with like box dye red hair and glasses . Horrible attitude. Horrible hair color. I got my name called and went to go pick my food up and nothing was ready the guy who was doing my sandwiches was even confused on why she was being rude she said “well she can wait a damn minute” and he said “you told me to call her” and she told him “well I was going to ask if she wanted whipping cream” mind you she wouldn’t ask me directly or even look at me. I was literally standing there I wasn’t asking for my food or acting impatient I had an hour to kill. Other than that the sandwiches were great (they always are) but my coffee was gross and bitter like her.

I go to this Panera frequently and the food and staff are really great here but this time something was off. Like I said staff was great but once I got my food... The spoon they gave me for my soup was absolutely disgusting! It looked like it had never been washed. So I asked for a new spoon and they gave me a clean one. Also I feel the food is a little pricey here but otherwise good!

A dining establishment should offer, at minimum, an expectation of cleanliness and safety. The Oxford Panera Bread location, however, manages to fail spectacularly on both counts, presenting itself not as a functioning restaurant, but as a monument to managerial negligence.

Stepping into this location feels like walking into a time capsule of severe neglect. The rot begins where the customer cannot look away—the dining area. The upholstery, meant to provide comfort, is a mournful tapestry of faded, cracked vinyl and threadbare fabric. The seating is not merely worn; it is actively decaying, creating an unappetizing and distinctly unpleasant environment that whispers of deferred maintenance and utter corporate apathy.

If the dining room is depressing, a glance toward the back-of-house is genuinely alarming. The kitchen area is shrouded in a permanent twilight due to dingy and dim lighting. This lack of appropriate illumination suggests management prefers obscurity over inspection. When the area dedicated to food preparation is so poorly lit that visibility is questionable, it immediately raises serious concerns regarding hygiene and the ability of staff to maintain basic sanitary standards. This shadowy setup casts a literal pallor over the entire operation.

Worst of all is the exterior dining space, which has devolved into an active hazard. The outdoor furniture is tattered and torn beyond any reasonable definition of disrepair, rendering it fundamentally not safe for use. Chairs are left with splintered frames and ripped seating material—a liability waiting to happen. That management permits such a shameful display of disregard for customer safety and comfort is unforgivable.

This Oxford location requires an immediate, top-to-bottom renovation and a severe audit of its maintenance protocols. Until fundamental issues of hygiene, comfort, and, most crucially, customer safety are addressed, this Panera Bread should be regarded as a textbook example of how a popular chain can utterly fail its local patrons. Avoid this location until visible, comprehensive change is implemented.

We ordered the bakery goods we were traveling back to GA. I ordered a large hot Carmel latte and my husband ordered a chia tea latte. We left and got on the road. I started to drink my latte and it was a very very weak coffee with no Carmel no milk or anything!!! Over $5.00 wasted! Come on employees and I even gave you all a great tip I spent $33.00 and you couldn't make my drink right.

My favorite place to stop before shopping in Oxford. The oatmeal & fruit is my favorite along with the yogurt parfait. Always friendly staff and comfortable environment.
