This used to be my favorite place for chineese ! I absolutely loved the way they used to make General Tsous chicken !i traveled aprox 45 mins just to get it ! I havent been able to go for a while (work hours changed)! For my Birthday I decided to treat my self ! It was decent ! Everything else was yummy ,the service was great as usual ! Dont understand what happened but its no where near as good as it used to be ! Very disappointing!
My husband and I live in the area and we tried 3 other Chinese Restaurants before finding the China Cafe. It is our favorite and the only place we will order Chinese food. Our favorite is Moo Goo Gai Pan and additionally, the egg rolls. Delicious.
I have been a super supporter of the restaurant over many years, but something has changed. Prices are up, quality is down, ingredients reduced (particularly seafood items) and we have have had errors in our take-out orders. Is the original owner/chef still cooking? Don't know. Maybe we have been ordering from there for too many years...everything tastes the same. Egg rolls are crispy and fried well, but stuffed, it seems, with nothing but cabbage and black pepper.
