My husband and I love Golden City! We started going 3 years ago, and it has consistently been our favorite place in the area. We love their sushi rolls, sweet and sour chicken, and hibachi. My favorite is the egg drop soup. Not only is the food fantastic, but we always love the incredible service that Golden City provides.
We are from Kentucky and were in Alabama visiting family for the week of Thanksgiving and happened upon Golden City. I wish we had a restaurant like this near where we live in Kentucky. The staff was SO nice and helpful. The food was moderately priced and delicious. The atmosphere was also wonderful because they played calming music on a low quiet volume. We have an autistic child and this made the dining experience WAY better than most places. Was glad to see it wasn't crowded,...
If you like your meats hibachi’d, pick this place.
If you like your soup hot and soured, pick this place. Great food, great service, great people. Go be great. You deserve it.
