Wow! What an amazing dining experience. I had almond crusted chicken, sweet potatoes creme brulee and grilled asparagus with an amazing sauce! See pix. Becky was such an amazing bartender and server! I sat at bar. She is adorable, so polite and sweet and funny. Treated me and all guests at the bar like kings and queens. You can tell she loves people and her job! I was staying at a hotel down the street on way to Destin and just found this amazing place. It's in an old elementary school with other bars In building. Great idea. This restaurant has been there 3 yrs I was told. Prices awesome, decor awesome. Food unbelievable!

The management did not meet my expectations to resolve the issue I had with my to go order. You won't believe what was inside my the tray next to my overly cooked fish. Please go to the last photos on the restaurant review photo option. Not only was I grossed out, I was traumatized. If this was overlooked, what else are they missing. Please see last photos on their reviews. This was really inside with my food. BTW, I notified the Health Department.

Last few experiences have been less than favorable. Service was very slow and the seafood was extremely overcooked, dry and not flavorful. The manager did try to make it right by comping one of our drinks an a $150 meal for two, birthday celebration. We were long time regular customers, no more. New management, new service and chef training maybe. Could be good but sadly it’s not.

The food was amazing and I can’t say enough about how great the whole staff was! Brittney was so good! She took great care of us. The two guys at the front were so patient and held the door for us when we were leaving, and getting my 87 year old Mother in Law out.

I'm from New Orleans. This is the only place in Birmingham to get delicious New Orleans food. They know how to do it right! I always get seafood pasta and seafood/crawfish corn bisque. The Argentinian Red are giant delicious shrimp. Can't recommend this place enough! Usually even have new orleans music or Frank Sinatra just sets the mood.

We love everything about this place. We always sit at the bar and have oysters and drinks then have dinner at the bar. Staff is great.

The workers are clearly not wanting to be there. Disappointing service all around.

First and last visit. Be warned. The workers really don't want to work. Half the restaurant is empty and they can't be bothered to seat people. Rude workers. Slow slow service. Tried to order desert for over 15 minutes and the server was too busy chatting to notice. Too bad because we enjoyed the food.

Food was great as always, customarily my family is a patron of the trussville location but our first experience in Pelham was nothing short of superbulous. What was even more so impressive is the quality service I received from Alexander. He was awesome!!! He Made sure our child was entertained and never short of a refill or napkins. Good complimentary recommendations and never more than a few steps away when needed. As always “on the half shell” is a recommendation for a night out and Alexander will be my go to waiter while I’m here at the Pelham establishment!

Heather/Glenn! Your restaurant was amazing! Your Cajun recipes were very authentic useful fresh ingredients!! Service was impeccable!! The decor was like Being in New Orleans! The house music was delicate and gave us a very comfortable filling up with dinner!! I got the red fish Cajun dish and my tongue will feel the flavors the rest of the night! The sweet potato cream brûlés I have never tasted anything like that before it was exceptional!! Or appetizer upfront with a dozen charbroiled Oyster was the freshest and most seasoned to Perfection. I’ve lived here on 280 for 12 years and didn’t even know there. Blaze existed.! This is the best spot in Birmingham! I’m retired. Military have traveled extensively and I guarantee you. This is one of my top five restaurants ever in my life.! You and your staff were so professional and kind!! Thank You!! The Blessings was wonderful! Salute!!

This location was beautiful, pending your reason it had a rustic romantic vibe with the low light and intimate table lighting. The chef brought it food out, if imagine that depends on what you order. Our server was very attentive. Everything was great minus the seafood pasta, it lacked major flavor, I was disappointed. She brought me some Cajun seasoning and it made it tolerable. The steak was cooked to perfection and very flavorful, drinks were a nice size and the apps were good, we tried voodoo wings and shrimp both were great. I really loved the bisque, I got a cup but if her a bowl next time!
