Tao Asian in Pelham might look quiet when you first walk in, but don’t let that fool you—the food speaks loud! The egg drop soup was hot and comforting, the egg rolls and crab rangoon were fresh and delicious, and the portions were more than generous. They even loaded me up with rice and a Go Box that had me tapping out. Service was quick, food came out within minutes, and everything tasted better than expected. Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out. Skraitup!
This is where you go when you want hot and crunchy chicken for your Chinese cravings. The negative reviews on here expect tofu to taste like filet mignon or they didn’t properly read the menu. As far as the staff, they are so friendly but nay sayers do not understand their first language is not what ours is. That should tell you this is authentic as it gets. There aren’t enough stars for this place. Food flavors are spot on. Everything we’ve had here is above average. Top marks to the chef. Waitress is cordial and prompt. This is not Americanized food. Expect authenticity.
