My brother took me here and we both order the jerk chicken. Absolutely delicious! The owner came out and asked if our food was good. 100% recmmended
The food and service was outstanding!!! Season was on point and the meat was very tender.
Top notch 🤌 goat curry was on point. Will be a frequent customer. Very happy I tried it. The flavor and spices take me back to Ocho Rios. The cabbage, the rice, the fried plantains all of it, perfect. I ate it slow so it would last longer. Well done MAMA SPICE!

Mama Spice is hands down the best Jamaican food in the state. Customers say the oxtails are falling off the bone and tender, the jerk chicken and split plate of jerk pork & oxtails are top tier, and the brown stew, cabbage and rice, curry chicken, beef patties and potato pudding are very tasty. The chef is kind, customer service is top tier, and the reggae vibe adds to the experience. The restaurant is a gem tucked away on Main Street of Pell City, with small portions that are almost overwhelming. Many drink choices are available, and customers recommend it highly, saying it is a vacation from regular restaurants. The chicken meat pies are delicious and quick to order.
